Follow along as we look wrap up the course with a look at using a prong buckle for the strap as well as adding an elastic strap to the heel.
For this example we are using the double strap variation on the 18-inch Dollistocks doll shoe pattern. The buckles are just under 6mm wide on the interior which fits a1/4" strap.

You can also find a variety of other buckles that work well for the Dollistocks in both sizes!
These products work great for the Double Strap style for 18" dolls and the single strap style for smaller dolls.
These styles are wider and work well for the 18-inch size shoe single strap style (they're the same size and the aqua and lavender buckles in the Leilani Shoe Kit).
The elastic used for the heel strap is clear 1/4" wide elastic (link to amazon), usually designed for swimsuits or lingerie garments.

this is a very good class. I will be ordering the kit for size 2. Have noticed you have a package of just the thicker cork for the size 1 dolls. Wish you had a package of just the thicker cork for the size 2 and 3 dolls.
