Cinnamon & Pixie Faire Team
Like so many posts here, I have difficulty finding the uninterrupted time to enjoy sewing. I’m always working on moving it up the priority list. Also I want to make so many patterns I see and probably will never get to all of them. It’s a good problem to have. I’ll never be bored.
My biggest sewing challenge is fancy fabrics—lightweight and slippery.
My biggest sewing challenge is sewing with Knit or stretchy fabric. I keep trying it because the fabrics are so cute, but so far it has not worked out so well. It would be nice to see what I am doing wrong and what can help me do this better.
My biggest challenge is not starting a new project before I finish the others in progress!
My biggest sewing challenge is walking away from the sewing room when I have other tasks that need to be attended to.
My biggest challenge is sewing elastic on lingerie
My biggest challenge is finding print fabrics scaled for doll clothes. Fabric availability is limited in my rural area and online fabric stores (except for fabric.com) seldom provide pattern repeat information without a specific question.
My biggest sewing challenge is keeping track of the material and findings that I already have to use them in my creations.
My biggest sewing challenge is finishing all my projects before I start another.
My biggest sewing challenge is having a place to sew.
My biggest sewing challenge is sewing extra small pieces. I have learned to sew differently due to arthritis in my hands. I get a lot on ideals from Pixie Faire patterns. So love these patterns. Thank you.
My biggest sewing challenge is too many projects and not enough time!
My biggest sewing challenge is buttonholes!
My biggest sewing challenge is pulling it all together to make a start — pattern, fabric, notions. It’s probably the most time-consuming part of the project.
My biggest sewing challenge is sewing with stretchy fabrics.
My biggest challenge is to finish what I started. If I have any trouble with the item, I just move it to the side and do something else. As I have just a basic sewing machine, finishing stitches are a challenge, the same as hand stitching (arthritis).
My biggest sewing challenge is not having enough time to sew as much as I want to
My biggest challenge is getting around to it.
My biggest sewing challenge is clearing off room to work!
My biggest sewing challenge is learning to make the best use of my serger.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding time.
My biggest sewing challenge is find the time to finish up the projects I have started on
my biggest challenge it sewing perfect pleats and coming out in the end..theres always something wrong with my math even though im a math whiz..😁
My biggest sewing challenge is fancy fabrics—lightweight, slippery and loosely woven.
My biggest sewing challenge is making pleats.
My biggest sewing challenge is making the time to sew. I have so many ideas, so much fabric, and so many of the SWC courses I would like to complete. I need to put a regular time on my calendar for sewing.
My biggest challenge is finishing what I have already started.
My biggest sewing challenge is keeping the knit or stretch fabrics from ‘curling’.
My biggest challenge is having too many projects going at once.
Sewing tulle, netting and silky fabrics. My sewing machine eats them up!!!!
My biggest sewing challenge is finding more time to sew.
Moving the junk that piles around my machine so I can sew – as well as finding the time! But once I am sewing, my biggest challenge is flimsy materials
My biggest sewing challenges are disorganization and finding time to sew.
I have 4 kiddos with 18 inch dolls that would love for me to sew them outfits. Thank you fo a chance to win.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding space for all my doll clothes and accessories!!!
I just don’t have the time to sew like I would like to.
My biggest challenge is buttonholes😩
My biggest sewing challenge is slowing down and taking extra time when it comes to sewing small doll seams. Why? I want to see the finished product and sometimes don’t get the ideal look because I sewed to fast
My biggest challenge is downsizing my fabric collection to make more room in my sewing room
My biggest sewing challenge is sewing on slippery fabric and knits.
My biggest sewing challenge is sewing zippers on these small dresses.
My biggest sewing challenge is just being able to sit at the machine and get something done before my degenerated spine says “No more!”.
My big challenge is sewing small hems with arthritis!
My biggest sewing challenge is not enough time for all the sewing knits. This year I am challenging myself to sew more knit garments in order to improve my technique.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding time…
My biggest sewing challenge is sewing with minky fabric. I just can’t seem to keep it from stretching the wrong way or leaving puckers in my projects! I just need to practice more!!
My biggest challenge is zippers
My biggest sewing challenge is resisting that cute fabric that will be perfect for that adorable doll outfit! I have way too much fabric on hand, and have been trying to whittle it down over the past 10 months (made 97 doll outfits from end of March through beginning of July!)
My biggest sewing challenge is button holes! I don’t know how to make them and I avoid making any doll clothes with them.
My biggest sewing challenge is my sewing machine tension. It never seems to be set right, and I spend more time trying to get it right, than I do sewing. Frustrating to no end!!
Sewing with lightweight knits!
My biggest sewing challenge is attaching ruffled bands. Always a challenge to get it to come out evenly
My biggest sewing challenge is sewing on thin or silky fabrics and knits.
My biggest sewing challenge is getting the finishing on a project the way I want. Hand sewing buttons, finishing the back of the garment, sewing top stitching—it all needs to look a lot better than I can manage which is frustrating.
My biggest sewing challenge is so many fabrics, so many patterns, and not enough time to do them all!
My biggest sewing challenge is making time to sew!
My biggest challenge is buttonholes:(
My biggest sewing challenge is sewing with very lightweight fabrics.
My biggest challenge is straight Sean’s and arm holes
My biggest sewing challenge is finding enough time to sew because it seems as if other chores get in the way.
My biggest sewing challenge is the zigzag stitch. I can never get it right!
My biggest sewing challenge is sewing with knits and delicate fabrics.
My biggest sewing challenge is sewing tiny stretch fabric seams with a little bit of a zigzag and not having the fabric bunch up through the sole plate, especially when sewing near the edge.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding what I need for a project. We recently moved and I haven’t found all my sewing supplies. It’s easier to just go buy more!
My biggest sewing challenge is anything that is used for formal dresses. I have to go carful with slippery fabrics
My biggest sewing challenge is making buttonholes.
Starting to use a serger
My biggest sewing challenge is working with thick materials such as multiple layers of wool.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding the time & energy to complete all the projects I have planned.
My biggest sewing challenge is deciding what to sew next. I have so many projects in mind that I would like to sew its hard to decide what to sew next.
My biggest sewing challenge is sewing with knits. I started sewing with quilts and the shift from wovens to knits has really thrown me for a loop. I’ve been doing it for a couple years now and I’m slowly getting better. There’s definitely a learning curve!
My biggest sewing challenge apart from getting distracted and finding time to sew, is collars.
My biggest sewing challenge is deciding what to sew and then finishing it – too many things on the go, then I lose a piece or tool somewhere, disaster!
“My biggest sewing challenge is finding appropriate size notions and some times the fabric to sew with.
My biggest sewing challenge is sewing tiny stitches by hand.
My biggest sewing challenge is finishing what I’ve started. I have issues with my hands right now, and getting the finishing touches on some things when all I have to do is a small amount of hand sewing is a real challenge.
My biggest sewing challenge is organizing my projects and finishing what I started BEFORE starting another project. I have ADHD and it is very difficult to complete something while new idea are flooding my thoughts. I would love to know how others that have ADHD or ADD (and don’t take meds for it) actually complete what they start.Do tell, please!
My biggest sewing challenge is ZIPPERS…yes I yelled it. They never seem to sew as pretty as the way the pattern intended. I watch tutorial after tutorial, but I will “never give up!”
My biggest sewing challenge is deciding things..
My biggest challenge is finding time to sew all the projects I have ideas for.
My biggest sewing challenge is making time to sew. I like to have at least an hour or two to get into the project. I get too many interruptions. I have learned to get back into the project after the interruptions, but it takes some of the fun out of creating.
My biggest sewing challenge is keeping the tension right on my machines for the different fabrics.
My biggest sewing challenge is organizing my 8 × 8 sewing room. I’m not complaining, I am lucky to have a sewing room. It’s soooo small so being organized is key.
My biggest challenge is finishing one thing before starting another.
My biggest challenge is sewing in zippers for doll clothes, I even have trouble sometimes with regular size clothes.
My biggest sewing challenge, was back in 2020 when I got my brother sewing machine. I was listening to music and working on a collab dress for a youtube video. An I got to into my music. An my sewing stitches was on zig zag. An the needle zig zagged right into my left pointer finger and broke off. I was freaking out not because the blood. But because I couldn’t get it out. An I hate asking for help. But I did. I asked my grandma to just rip it out with the plyers. Cause I don’t want my finger to get cut off (literally what I was thinking) She finally got it out after hesitating cause she didn’t want to hurt me. But I was already hurt. Anyway now I pay attention and don’t jam out to my music when sewing cause I don’t want that to ever happen to me or anyone else ever again.
My biggest sewing challenge is to actually market what I make.
My biggest challenge is getting my hands to work as I want them to do!
Biggest sewing challenge? Finding time and room to do it. Once I manage to do those two things, then zippers are the bane of my existence.
My biggest sewing challenge is sewing very lightweight fabrics
My biggest sewing challenge is finding or having enough time to sew and complete a project in a reasonable length of time.
My biggest sewing challenge is fitting and keeping my sewing room clear enough to sew.
My biggest sewing challenge is making buttonholes.
My biggest sewing challenge right now is sewing with knit and stretchy fabrics!
Sewing a thick folded edge like a hem, when starting out is a challenge as it jams the machine and makes a mess.
My biggest sewing challenge is having the time to sew. I have too many hobbies!
My biggest sewing challenge is tiny details on doll clothes.
My biggest sewing challenge is a place to sew!
My biggest challenge with sewing is time.
