My biggest sewing challenge is finding the time to sew.
My biggest sewing challenge is sewing with knits. I have tried several projects, but always seem to run into a snag or a stretch in my fabric.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding a large enough block of time to start and complete a project in one sitting.
My biggest sewing challenge is stretchy fabrics as well.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding suitable fabrics in my small town. Aside from mainly being a quilting shop, the only fabric store has a bit of a monopoly and prices are very expensive.
My biggest sewing challenge is the money to purchase project materials. I am retired on a very small SS and I try to scavenge materials from 2nd hand clothes etc. to sew ! Thanks for the opportunity to get new items with a gift card . Happy New Year !
My biggest sewing challenge is working with knits
My biggest challenge is buttonholes. I’ve taken the course but I still struggle.
“My biggest sewing challenge is knowing which serging seam would work best for the many different types of seams and fabric.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding appropriately sized notions.
My biggest challenge is the desire to have everything perfect. I am learning to be flexible when putting my pieces together.
My biggest sewing challenge is working with very fine, flimsy fabrics. It helps that I have a serger, but on a regular sewing machine, it is very frustrating.
My biggest sewing challenge is getting started on a project. I have severe depression.
My biggest sewing challenge is staying out of fabric stores. I have enough fabric to last me years but can’t resist the beautiful fabric I find to go with the beautiful doll patterns I have. I have heard that shopping for fabric and sewing are two different hobbies. I love both.
My biggest sewing challenge is knits and slick fabrics. Shoes are also a challenge.
My biggest sewing challenge is organization. I can’t find what I need when I need it in my sewing room.
My biggest sewing challenge is using the rolled hem foot to make rolled hems on my doll’s special garments. I just hate machine-sewn hems, especially those that show on garments that are otherwise special.
My biggest sewing challenge is organizing my small sewing space. Too much stuff and too little room. I’ve built up such a large stash of fabric, ribbon, faux leather, etc., but it overflows the space I have to work in. Would love to learn how to organize all of it better.
My biggest sewing challenge is sewing on collars because I can’t get a smooth neckline.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding time to sew and also sewing with really stretchy knits
My biggest sewing challenge is sewing with knit fabrics
My biggest sewing challenge is collars and cuffs. Mine somehow seem to be off.
My biggest sewing challenge is getting the time I want to sew. I love to sew, but I love my family time. Sometimes its hard to find the balance, so I do the best I can.
My biggest sewing challenge is sewing with stretch fabrics.
My biggest challenge is trying to get my serger to do what I want it to.
My biggest challenge is buttonholes. My machine gets stuck in the middle of a buttonhole and won’t move as it should.
My biggest sewing challenges are time to work on my projects, dealing with the small seam allowance on doll clothes and sewing knit fabrics.
My biggest challenge is letting go of my fabric stash when a planned project never gets made. Lots of ideas and creativity – too little time.
My biggest sewing challenge is sometimes my “creativity” gets in the way and I can’t decide which darling fabric to use with which darling pattern.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding enough time to finish everything I want to sew.
My biggest challenge is fitting when I sew garments for myself.
The biggest challenge I have is to balance the things I need to do with the things I want to do.
My biggest sewing challenge is costs with lapels”
My biggest sewing challenge is staying organized so I don’t spend all my time looking for things.
My biggest sewing challenge is button holes. I have an old sewing machine that is mostly good for straight stitching.
My biggest sewing challenge is organizing my sewing room to find my things for each project.
My biggest sewing challenge is sewing zippers into anything. The thought of using them in a small doll outfit makes me avoid those patterns.
The biggest challenge I have is balancing all the stuff I want to do with the things I need to do.
My biggest sewing challenges are (1) finding enough time to sew and (2) sewing on any type of stretchy fabric. If I could get by on less sleep, I might find more time to sew, but that’s probably not going to happen! And there must be a solution to getting weird, wavy seams when sewing on knit fabrics, but I haven’t figured that one out yet.
My biggest sewing challenge is working with knit fabrics.
My biggest challenge is finding the time to get done all the items I want to do.
My biggest sewing challenge is TIME. I’m 75 years old with a huge stash I am going at a fever pace but still don’t have enough time to get done everything I want to.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding time to sew. I work and often take care of grandchildren. When I do get into my sewing room, I see tons of things I want to do and become overwhelmed. I do need to set some priorities for my sewing time.
My biggest sewing challenge is proper fitting. I have an older doll and some of the patterns are too small. I have trouble adjusting to the correct measurements.
My biggest sewing challenge is trying to limit the squirrels!
My biggest challenge is pushing myself beyond my comfort zone when I come to a challenging part of a pattern
My biggest sewing challenge is time.
My biggest sewing challenge (besides never having enough uninterrupted sewing time!) has got to be sewing thin knit fabrics. Especially the small seam allowances needed for doll clothes. I’ve tried it all…needles, different stitches, stitch length, starting farther in, and stabilizer. My machine’s feed dogs generally suck the fabric into the plate at some point…usually ruins the project.
My biggest sewing challenge is storing all of the notions so that I can access them easily. I even bought a stainless steel mechanics chest on chest but still run out of drawers.
My biggest challenge is mastering my serger.
My biggest sewing challenge is the serger. I see all the wonderful things you are supposed to be able to do with it but I have trouble getting the tricks and tips to work.
My biggest challenge is storing my fabrics.
My biggest challenge is to find time end energy though I KNOW it will help me through tough times doing what I love to do, ie sewing. Thank you for great patterns.
My biggest sewing challenge is storing all of the notions so that I can access them easily. I even bought a stainless steel mechanics chest on chest but still run out of drawers.
My biggest challenge is seam allowance, especially if I serge the edges.
Sadly my biggest sewing challenge is the sewing part… I’m just not very experienced in using a sewing machine. And I tend to move too much because I hurt and am trying to change positions. That means I accidentally sew too fast or manage to get things crooked.
My biggest sewing challenge is having enough time to make everthing I want to make
My biggest challenge is when I have to close a seam by hand. I am not good at hand work at all.
Learning to use the sewing machine. I hand stitch everything, so it is not always the neatest or most even. I can take it with me wherever I go though.
My biggest sewing challenge is turning tiny straps and holding tiny buttons, bows, etc. I have arthritis in my hands.
My biggest sewing challenge is getting frustrated when I make errors and I make one on every outfit.
My biggest sewing challenge is pushing beyond when I find the directions challenging.
My biggest sewing challenge is time. I’d like to sew all the time!
My biggest sewing challenge it finding the perfect fabric and notions for all the projects I dream up.
My biggest sewing challenge is the confidence to get started.
My biggest sewing challenge is sewing knits!
My biggest sewing challenge is deciding on the project!
Sewing on knits. I always get wavy seems.
My biggest sewing challenge is attaching the closure for the garment, which is most often Velcro. Even now that I’m using the softer Velcro, I just don’t ‘enjoy’ sewing it on any more than using zippers, snaps, etc.
My biggest sewing challenges are sewing zippers and the dreadful button holes. I am so far not able to master those two things yet.
The biggest sewing challenge is deciding which fabric to use for the pattern.
My biggest sewing challenge is being too much of a perfectionist! I get frustrated and discouraged when there’s an error moat people wouldn’t even notice!
There are a few challenges, finding the right lace for the Royal wedding dress. Rolled hems, even with a rolled hem foot. Working with knits.
My biggest sewing challenge is sewing zippers and perfect buttonholes.
My biggest sewing challenge is sewing tight curves on a sewing machine, I can barely sew a straight line let alone curves. Also sleeves are the bane of my existence.
biggest challenge is binding around curves.
My Biggest sewing challenge is thin fabrics and specialty fabrics that ravel. I don’t have the patience for those but I still use them, just not as much fun.
My biggest challenge is getting time to sew, then spending the time looking for things since I just moved last March. Plus I get distracted while looking for items and start something else! LOL I’m hoping to retire this year so I have more time for sewing and grandchildren.
My biggest sewing challenge used to be time but now that I am retired it is money! LOL!!
My biggest sewing challenge is finishing a project before I start a new one.
My biggest sewing challenge is working with knit fabrics. I tend to avoid them instead of learning more about how to sew with them.
My challenge is stacking up items to sew but not finding the time to get them done! Have UFOs everywhere….
My biggest challenge is the cutting the pattern on any fabric. I enjoy the sewing part, I love the end look but hate starting any project.
“My biggest sewing challenge is gathers. Have tried many methods to do but still have issues
My biggest sewing challenge is staying focused – working on one project yet my mind is planning 6 different more! So much fabrics- sew many patterns – so many ideas🙀
I think my biggest sewing challenge is finishing projects. I’ll get super excited and start a new project, abandoning all my unfinished projects. But my setup is super organized, I have a draw in my desk where I keep all my unfinished projects and any time I really want to sew but don’t want to start a new project, I’ll look though that drawer and finish some of those projects!
My biggest sewing challenge is stretchy knits – especially ones that stretch in all directions.
My biggest sewing challenge is stretchy knits – especially ones that stretch in all directions.
My biggest sewing challenge is the constant interruptions. Since Covid it’s gotten so bad that I feel like the Den Mother of a Frat house!
My biggest sewing challenge is using up my enormous stash – and not buying any more…. I promise.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding purpose for what I sew. It is hard to find joy in the sewing if there doesn’t seem to be purpose
My biggest sewing challenge is getting started with a project including choosing what pattern to try next. I love to sew doll clothes and seeing the finished garment is very rewarding to me.
My biggest sewing challenge is the process of getting started including cutting out patterns and material. If it was all cut and ready I would sew more
My biggest sewing challenge is deciding what project to do next. As the old saying goes “So much fabric, so little time.” I could sew continually but the house needs to be cleaned and my husband likes to have meals. I just have to work it out!
My biggest sewing challenge is cutting slippery fabrics! I need to learn how to cut without it sliding and getting pieces that are cut incorrectly. I will be checking out SWC courses- I think I remember one for this!
My biggest sewing challenge lately is finding the time to sew when my husband works from home. I have to sneak it in between his phone calls.
My biggest sewing challenge is the “clutter” that accumulates when sewing.
My biggest sewing challenge is with slippery fabrics keeping them even or from snagging like silk.
