My biggest sewing challenge is finding uninterrupted blocks so of time so I can really get into the project. Stopping and starting is frustrating.
My biggest sewing challenge is making time to sew and enough hours in the day to sew and create mini accessories to go with the doll outfit or scene I’m trying to make. I thought I would have more time to sew when my kids became adults, but not so much!
My biggest challenge is sewing without back and shoulder pain.
Biggest sewing challenges are knits, stretchy material and learning how to use my new serger. They intimidate me!
My biggest sewing challenge is getting started. I’ve been sewing since I was a teenager and at one time I made (and sold a few) cloth dolls. I collect dolls and I want to make clothes for them and my granddaughters again.
My biggest challenge is finding the fabric for to make those dresses etc it hard to shop on internet for fabric that why I love pixie packs to add to my fabric stash and other challenge is finding the time to sew
“My biggest sewing challenge is making tiny, even stitches because I have arthritis in my hands and fingers and my fingers are big and clumsy. I try to go slow but it doesn’t seem to help much.”
My biggest sewing challenge is the alteration to fit myself the way I want. So many little tweaks it feels a little overwhelming.
My biggest sewing challenge is gussets. It doesn’t matter if doll clothes or people clothes, I can’t seem to get them to look nice.
My biggest sewing challenge is a combined issue….. finding time to sew in general and finding time to practice my sewing skills.
My biggest sewing challenge is getting started. I lack confidence that I that I will be pleased with he final result.
My biggest sewing challenge is putting everything away after I have a whirlwind of projects! I’d love to sew regularly, but tend to get a single large chunk of time over a few weeks, and it’s not as fun to put everything back as to take it out :)
My biggest sewing challenge is keeping my sewing room neat and things put away after a project.
My biggest challenge is finding the time to sew. It’s hard to put everything else aside and sit down and sew. Waiting to retire when my days will be less busy and I have more time to sew!! Just have to wait 8 more months!
Buttonholes and zippers are my biggest challenges
My biggest challenge is getting up the sewing mojo especially in the winter, I feel so lazy no motivation to get er done especially when friends give me alterations to do not fun stuff like sewing for dolls
My biggest sewing challenge if finding the energy. I have a chronic illness that saps my energy. Directly related to sewing, my biggest challenge is mastering my new serger…it frightens me a bit.
My biggest sewing challenge is to enjoy and complete a project that pleases myself..I’m so picky it has to please me first. I love the PIXIEFAIRE patterns.
My biggest sewing challenge is making time for what I want to sew, not just for alterations & projects for others. Over the yrs, I have many many PF patterns & only made a fraction of them so far. I have a home studio/dedicated rooms for my work, so space isn’t a major issue. I suppose tiny buttonholes are a challenge- along with slippery knit spandex Cosplay fabrics & hemming organza in curvy angel wing shapes. You’d think after 56+ yrs I wouldn’t have many challenges….. Thank you for your yearly sweepstakes.
Finding some coordinating fabrics that I like.
My biggest sewing challenge is making buttonholes on doll clothes. My buttonhole messes up when I get close to the edge or a seam.

My biggest sewing challenge finishing the total look. (Hat, shoes, necklace, purse, etc.)
My biggest challenge is finding time to sew all the projects that are swirling in my mind.
My biggest sewing challenge is being able to sit very long without pain in my hips/legs. My husband made me a tall table to put my sewing machine on so I could stand and sew to keep the pressure off my hips. The tall table helps a lot but I do get tired standing and sewing for very long. Sewing is what I like to do, so I stand and sew as much as I can!
My biggest sewing challenge is finding and/or MAKING time to do what I love!!
My biggest sewing challenge is to make button holes on these small outfits I make for my granddaughter’s.
My biggest sewing challenge is remembering to enjoy it as I’m sewing, instead of just wanting to check off another thing to do.
I have 2 big challenges to my sewing; Parkinson’s Disease and Space to work.
My biggest sewing challenge is space to lay out my project and sew.

My biggest sewing challenge is time.

My biggest sewing challenge is making closures look nice – especially on small doll clothes.
My biggest challenge is space. When I sew, the machine has to sit on the dining room table.
My biggest sewing challenge is knit fabric and ruffles or gathers. Knits are sometimes stubborn without a walking foot. I prefer my standard sewing foot for ease of measuring seam allowances. As for ruffles and gathers, I just don’t enjoy making them. They are adorable though.

My biggest challenge is having more fabric and ideas than time!!
My biggest sewing challenge is wanting to sew way more than humanly possible.
My biggest sewing challenge is organizing fabrics…

My biggest sewing challenge is working with ultra fine slippery fabrics like chiffon or organza. I have problems with finishing their edges.
My biggest challenge now is aging. I have plenty of time to sew, but slowly failing eyesight and joints that don’t work as well prevent me from spending as long as I’d like sitting in one spot and sewing.
My biggest sewing challenge is like so many others, Time! But I have trouble putting in zippers. Some times I opt for velcro rather than a zipper.

My biggest challenge is to sew for different size dolls than the 18 inch doll!!
With an Etsy shop, I get that request a lot!!
It makes me terribly uncomfortable!!!
My biggest sewing challenge is finding enough time to finish the projects I have started
My biggest challenge is my serger. There are so many variables, I don’t have enough memory to retain them all.
My biggest sewing challenge is making a doll outfit that someone wants to buy. I spend lots of time and think it is great, but it does not sell. I provide items for a store my granddaughters run.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding the time for both house work and sewing. My preference is definitely sewing so I ignore a lot of chores around my house.
My biggest sewing challenge is buttonholes. They only come out correctly about half the time.
My biggest challenge is sewing small diameter items such as sleeves or cuffs as the arm of my machine is too large in some cases.
My biggest sewing challenge is using my surger—I’m a little intimidated so it’s just sitting here.

My biggest sewing challenges are buttonholes and keeping my sewing area uncluttered.

My biggest challenge is finding time to sew the fun things, like doll clothes.
My biggest sewing challenge is finishing a project. As I get older, it takes me longer…but it does get done.
My biggest sewing challenge is troubleshooting. As long as things are going well, I progress, but if a seam jams into the feed-dogs or the curve doesn’t lay flat and smooth as it should, I tend to lose interest and procrastinate.
My biggest challenge is making sewing my first priority!
My biggest sewing challenge is determining what material to use for any given project I want to make that would make it an item people love. The fabrics I think would look good on any particular sewing project is usually not what everyone else would have chosen.
