My biggest sewing challenge is getting frustrated when sewing with small garments and zippers.
My biggest sewing challenge is just getting started.
I love sewing for little ones.
My biggest sewing challenge is time. My house often suffers.
My biggest sewing challenge is not having a dedicated sewing space. It’s hard to get sewing in when you can’t leave out your machines and projects.
My biggest problem is deciding what to sew. So many ideas. Not enough time.
My biggest sewing challenge is alteration. A little bird tells friends that I do alterations. Taking up my sewing time and set ups.
My biggest challenge is learning about all the feet and stitches on my machine. I’m sure there are many that would improve the speed and ease of my sewing. When I finally fit the time for a project, and collect all the materials I am loathe to try a new method that may not work as well. I too, as many others have trouble finding the right size materials.
My biggest sewing challenge is taking the time to research or watch video’s on the right way to do things. I get too excited to get started and think, it can’t be that difficult so I just wing it.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding prints small enough for 18" scale historic clothing.
My biggest sewing challenge is my changing eye sight. Oh to be young again. At least with my old machine, I know exactly where the needle is to thread it, but my newer machines, it is a struggle.
My biggest sewing challenge is zippers. I have put them in clothing for myself but for some reason, I avoid doll clothes or other craft projects that use them.
My biggest sewing challenge is adjusting for differences in sizing. No two of my 18" dolls is the same so I’ve had to learn who fits what style best, but I’d love to learn more
My biggest sewing challenge is needing a new setup due to shrinking bones and loss of height causing cervical spine issues.
I biggest sewing challenge is -TIME! So much fabric, so little time.
My biggest sewing challenge is organization. And focus. If I had more do I, I suppose I would be more organized. Hmm…
My biggest sewing challenge is stretch material
My biggest sewing challenge is deciding which fabric to use when trying a new pattern because I have so much fabric to choose from.
My biggest sewing challenge is making the time to sew.
My biggest sewing challenge is hemming.
My biggest challenge is finding find to do all the doll outfits that I design. Since my major in college was Clothing and Textiles, techniques aren’t an issue. With my new studio I have organized space. I am blessed with an understanding husband who helps me around the house. I wish I could finish cleaning and house organizing as easily as I do doll outfits.
My biggest challenge is finding the right fabrics and notions that are the right weight and scale for dolls.
My biggest sewing challenge is fitting patterns to the bodies and sizes of dolls or even myself😉
My biggest sewing challenge is probably working with very slick or stretchy fabrics. Instead of trying to get better at it I just tend to avoid them.
My biggest ongoing challenge is small buttonholes.
My biggest sewing challenge is knit fabrics!
Keeping sewing projects together, being organized
My biggest sewing challenge is using my serger.
My biggest sewing challenge is not enough time to do everything I want to do.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding the time to do it! Also, sourcing appropriate fabrics locally—there’s nothing like touching fabrics before you make the decision to purchase.
My biggest sewing challenge is time. There isn’t enough time to do everything I need to do and want to do. Time is my biggest sewing challenge.
My biggest sewing challenge is making myself just to do it.
My biggest sewing challenge is deciding what to sew and making the time to complete the project. So many wants and not enough time it seems.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding time to sew.
My biggest sewing challenge is time! Having 2 young kids and a side hustle leaves very little time to sew as much as id like.
My biggest sewing challenge is buttonholes.
My biggest sewing challenge is keeping my sewing space organized so that I have freedom to create.
My biggest sewing challenge is time.
My biggest sewing challenge is creating my own designs. I want to, but I don’t have the skill set yet. I’m planning on starting Pattern Academy soon, which I hope will help with that!
My biggest sewing challenge is finding time to do it!
My biggest sewing challenge is making it a priority. I love the outlet it provides, but I am a giver. I often use my free time helping others in their pursuits, putting sewing on the back burner.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding the fabric I want!
My biggest challenge is time and procrastination.
My biggest sewing challenge is using my serger!
My biggest sewing challenge is time to do all the things in my mind and all the things others ask me to do!
My biggest sewing challenge is sewing pleats. For some reason they scare me. I need to conquer that fear!
My biggest sewing challenge is finding time to sew. I watch my nearly 1 year old and nearly 5 year old grandkids several days a week while their parents work. When I’m not watching them (they don’t let me leave their sight even to go to the bathroom), I’m working on household chores and trying to get my business up and running. Night time is spent with my hubby relaxing and unwinding. I’m hoping to be able to start sewing again once the business is up and running.
My biggest sewing challenge is cutting out the patterns. Would love to have more of the doll clothes with SVG files so I could cut in the Cricut Maker
My biggest sewing challenge is just getting started. I find so many things I want to sew but can never decide where to begin.
My biggest sewing challenge is being able to organize my time so that I have regular time to sew.
My biggest challenge is sewing buttonholes.
my biggest sewing challenge is learning all my new feet for my sewing machine
My biggest sewing challenge is just getting in the sewing room and digging in and working on something.
My biggest challenge is definitely buttonholes!
My biggest challenge is storage and finding time. I have 17 quart tubs filled with trims and fabrics for doll clothes and other projects. 1-8ft table filled to within 2 feet of my 11 ft ceiling and the top of a bunk bed filled to within 2 feet of the 10 ft ceiling. Being a former theatre costumer, I have all sizes of scraps of every kind of fabric, plus people leave garbage bags of material on my porch. I got a new serger and another machine plus supplies from people I gave free facemasks to in 2020 and 2021. (Their mothers had died and they didn’t sew, so they gave them to me.) My mother was making Raggedy Anns and Andys for our entire family—she had 20 sets in different stages of being made when she was killed crossing a street (impaired driver) and I have 2 xl tubs of them to make for my family. This is my project for this year.
My biggest sewing challenge is rolled hems.
My biggest sewing challenge is understanding the instructions.
My biggest challenge is just getting started!
I have been sewing for 64 years now. Don’t have much challenging technique. Let say to use the feet for multiple use
My biggest sewing challenge is me.
My biggest challenge is working on ‘tiny’ projects. Mostly seeing them.
Thanks for the giveaway
My biggest challenge in sewing is having neat backup stitches.
Mu biggest sewing challenge is time. I always have more ideas and patterns than I have time to make.
My biggest sewing challenge is sewing buttonholes.
My biggest challenge, at the moment, when sewing doll clothes is sewing with thin slippery fabrics like satin, silk or chiffon.
My biggest sewing challenge is organization. It seems everyone, including myself, seems to think my sewing room is the place to put things that otherwise don’t have a home. Consequently, it always seems to be a mess just when I want to sew.
My biggest challenge is time. After a day at work, have trouble getting myself to start working on a long project.
My biggest sewing challenge is welt pockets. I never can get them squared.
My biggest challenge is rolled hems!
My biggest challenge is time. I think a project plan that breaks down steps common to all sewing projects into small tasks would help.
My biggest sewing challenge is deciding what to tackle next. My mind is full of ideas and I have so many patterns but it’s sometimes hard to settle on one thing. I have definite storage issues as well,
My biggest challenge is hemming on jersey fabrics!
My biggest sewing challenge is choosing a pattern and fabric that looks good on me.
My two biggest sewing challenges are working with fine fabrics and making all the fantastic patterns I see before the granddaughters no longer want to play with their dolls.
My biggest sewing challenge is hemming curves where it goes on the bias.
My biggest sewing challenge is working with delicate fabrics. I often get a snarl at the start of a seam.
My biggest sewing challenge is sewing knit fabrics, especially for swimwear.
My biggest challenge is finding the time to sew.
Sandra
My biggest sewing challenge is deciding what pattern to sew and what fabric(s) to use.
My biggest challenge is altering store bought clothing to fit better.
My biggest challenge is deciding what to make with the fabric that I have. Sometimes there are too many choices.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding and choosing the appropriate fabric and accessories for each pattern.
My biggest sewing challenge is a big imagination, to much fabric and not enough time. Learning to say No, so I can see what I want.
My biggest sewing challenge is making the time to sew because the sewing space also needs organizing. So I know it’s not just sit and sew, I have to work for it first.
My biggest sewing challenge is sewing velvet and satin together. I pin my heart out, but the slippage is inevitable. I’ve recently tried using an even feet foot. It helps somewhat, but still requires lots of seam ripping to get things lined up the way I had them. I use these materials to make capes for dolls, so the seams are long.
“My biggest sewing challenge is gathering. No mare how I try can’t seem to get this skill down
my biggest sewing challenge is deciding which pattern I want to make next. they are all so cute and I want to make them all right away.
My biggest sewing challenge is creating time and space for creativity
My biggest sewing challenge is finding the time to sew and just getting started!
My biggest challenge is buttonholes. I purchased a new sewing machine, not only for making buttonholes, that had a more automated system but I just struggle with it.
My biggest sewing challenge is keeping my sewing room organized. If it’s a mess, I’m not motivated to sew.
my biggest problem is zippers, never seem to be able to master putting them in right.
My biggest sewing challenge is time. It passes too quickly.
My biggest sewing challenge is working with fuzzy fabrics
My biggest sewing challenge is finishing seams for a professional look. I’d love to invest in sewing with cinnamon one day!
My biggest sewing challenge is not having enough space and or time to actually sew. I have a large family by todays standards, four children aged 7 months to 9 years. It’s hard to let myself be creative when there’s laundry to do or dishes to be done. I wish I could just let them be dirty but my brain will not let me focus on the things I want to do when I know there’s other crap to be done.
My biggest sewing challenge is the feeling that I am not good enough. No one can convince me that I am good. I have changed patterns to make cats with wings, matching marching band uniforms for dolls, and gingerbread dresses and still feel that it could gave been better.
My biggest sewing challenge is alterations. I can do the basic hem and side seams. Arm holes and bust lines are really confusing.

My biggest sewing challenge, other than no time to sew, is straightening fabric to be on grain. It sometimes takes hours and by time the fabric is straight, I ’ve lost interest in making anything out of it.
