Hi Everyone! Welcome to Sewing With Sheer Fabrics! In this course we'll be taking a deep dive into sewing with these beautiful flowing fabrics, we'll tackle the fears that arise and provide some tips for success!
In this course, I'll be joined by Shari Fuller, for a tag-team style set of instructional videos throughout this 4-part series.
The course will be broken down into these four installments:
Part 1: Course Overview, Fabrics, Sewing Tools, Resources, and Example Garments
Part 2: Sewing Tips, Stabilizer Solutions
Part 3: Seam Allowances and Edge Finishes
Part 4: Hems and Embellishment Details
Both Shari and I will be demonstrating the techniques while using these patterns: Liberty Jane Roebuck Bay Top, Liberty Jane Woomera Dress, and Thimbles and Acorns Grecian Renaissance Dress.
Are you ready to jump in and get started? Watch the Part 1 video and follow along as I go over the different fabric types, resources, sewing tools, and show you garments made using sheer fabrics.

Where can I find the dotted lace fabric? I used to have a lovely yellow Swiss dot over satin dress and want to recreate that for my dolls.
