Sewing A Themed Wardrobe: It's Showtime Part Two

Hi Everyone! This week we have a special treat! Shari is here with an ingenious upcycling tutorial project. With just cardboard, glue, paint, paper, and a few hardware pieces; she's made a beautiful Edwardian Wardrobe Steamer Trunk!

The Edwardian Wardrobe Steamer Trunk 18" Doll Craft Pattern has just been published, you can find it here on Pixie Faire.

This trunk can be made in the color and style you prefer to make it suitable for any time period. Maybe you want to replicate the look for your historical dolls or maybe you want to jazz it up for a modern doll like Kavi Sharma®. The choice is yours!

Are you ready to see how it's done? We invite you to sit back, relax, and watch as Shari puts the trunk together.

Wow! Wasn't that  an amazing process to watch? Stay tuned next week for the Part two tutorial which will include finishing the inside and creating functional drawers too!

This looks like a lot of fun. I wish I’d known about this before I recycled a bunch of shipping boxes.

This was amazing! I hope I can find an old one from the 1800s to replicate.

Wow! Looks like a great way to organize my granddaughter’s doll clothes. Surely if I can completely build a huge dollhouse, I can do this!!!
