Welcome to DAY 9 of our 12 Days if Christmas celebration!
For our 9th Day Of Christmas giveaway, we are doing a GIVEAWAY of one $100 Girl Charlee eGift Card to one lucky winner. The gift card can be used towards any item available on the Girl Charlee website! Woot, Woot!
More about Girl Charlee: (from their website) Within Girl Charlee Fabrics you are going to find the best selection of the most unique knit fabrics that you will not find anywhere else. I know how hard it is to find knit fabrics that are soft, have just the right hand and stretch, and are not prints that you have seen everywhere else, and at prices that don't break the bank, so I only source fabrics that fit all those characteristics and almost all are offered at 20% off regular retail price EVERY DAY. We offer the highest quality cotton lycra and spandex solids and prints, trendy designer cotton jersey and rayon blends direct from famous designer labels, and other specialty knits like vegan leather, Hacci sweaters, double brushed spandex, and much more. Each fabric is hand selected to ensure we are offering you the best fabric available at the lowest possible price!
This is one of my favorite place to shop for knit fabircs! They have such a great selection and lots of rib knits and ribbing for those hoodies too!
Now... if you're thinking, "I am scared to sew with knits!" Don't be! There are so many great resources here on Pixie Faire to help you conquer your fear and ahcieve success!
You can find the full on demand Sewing With Knits video course HERE to download, or you can watch any of the course videos at any time when you have access to the Sewing With Cinnamon membership community!
We'd love to know what part of a PDF pattern is the most important feature or element in the document. Our goal is to provide you with the best sewing, knitting, and crochet patterns in the world! With your feedback, I'm sure we can make that happen!

“The most important\useful feature or element in a pattern is forthright instructions with clean concise wording and photos for all parts and especially areas that are especially delicate, finiky or even new techniques and if there is more than one way to do something I wish that I was mentioned.
The most important/useful feature in a pattern is good illustrations in the instructions. It really helps to be able to see exactly how to manipulate the fabric, especially if the pattern is a complicated one.
The most important\useful feature or element in a pattern is the directions.
The most important part of a pattern is clear complete instructions that explain why we are doing something. And having good photos to match the instructions.
The most important feature/element in a pattern is that it is full size as I don’t have any way of enlarging. Also the instructions are clear to follow even if you are a novice at dolls dressmaking.
The most important part of any pattern is clear directions that are easy to follow and are written to the lower end of the pattern’s experience designation. An intermediate pattern should have clear enough directions so that someone just moving into intermediate items doesn’t get discouraged and a bit of extra explanation won’t hurt someone who has been sewing at this level for quite a while.
The most important feature in a pattern is accurate pattern pieces are fit together well. A bonus feature are photos for inspiration.
Clear directions and the skill level listed match the difficulty level.
The most important\useful feature or element in a pattern are good pictures that clearly show were/what/how to sew. Can you tell I’ma visual learner? I also love little tricks and hints that make it go together easier or look more professional.
“The most important\useful feature or element in a pattern is orderly construction of each garment piece and its place in the development of the finished garment. Directions of construction should be parallel to each piece, and each piece be visually shown in order. Tips and or shortcuts should be entered after each stage….example: stitch-in-the-ditch tip would be offered at the time of application, not at the end of the entire directions….the pattern piece itself should be clearly marked, with notches to correspond to the next piece being sewn..
“The most important\useful feature or element in a pattern is easy to follow instructions. Nothing worse than not being able to follow or understand and having to start again, figure it out yourself or worse give up!!”
The most important\useful feature or element in a pattern is the set of directions concerning how to make the item.
I like clear, concise directions, There is almost always a bit of adjustment needed for fit, but with good instructions, a seamstress can follow the steps easily and get good results.
The most important\useful feature or element in a pattern is good directions that include illustrations.
Great patterns, Clothes always come out so cute. Sews up quick and looks great in many fabrics.
The most important feature in a pattern is good directions. I can’t tell you how many patterns I have bought from other sites, and they are cute patterns, but the directions are terrible, which makes you have to rip out and sometimes start all over when the directions are not written correctly
I’m a visual learner so definitely the pictures. But clear concise detail in the instructions is important too. Any links to video instrc helps me be confident to try new things.
The most important feature of a pattern is the instructions. They need to be easily followed.
The most important\useful feature or element in a pattern is the instructions on how to make it. Thank you Cinnamon for the awesome giveaways.😘

The most important element in a pattern for me is continuity. I don’t like it when you have to skip ahead ten pages to get to your next step. That is very frustrating.
