My favorite era is Regency or anything I see in a Jane Austin movie on PBS. I wouls also like to see more patterns for bridal.. as a child I loved my bride doll and now my granddaughter is asking me to make a gown but I’m just not seeing a pattern I like.

I don’t really have a favorite era of fashion, as that tends to change with each individual doll, but I love making more fanciful costumes. I’d love to see more steampunk or sci-fi inspired outfits. My girls like to pretend their dolls are building robots, befriending aliens, casting magical spells, and flying airships.
My favorite era of fashion & clothing is the Regency Era. I would love to see patterns for dresses girls, not ladies, would have worn on a daily basis. The simplicity of the styles leaves lots of room for handwork and/or delicate fabric.

My favorite era of clothing and fashion is many of them. I like Regency dresses and hair. I like the gowns from the Civil War. I like what Audrey Hepburn, Doris Day and Sandra Dee wore. My latest kick has been Depression Lace on gingham dresses (also called Chicken Scratch Embroidery). So I would love to see some patterns for that. I love Historical clothing, hard to pick just one era, but I am partial to the 40’s and 50’s. I’d like to see a nurse outfit from WW2 era and I would love a coat and leggings set. I remember having one growing up, that I wore to school when it was so cold out as we didn’t were pants only dresses.

My favorite era of clothing and fashion is probably Victorian since that is the base time period for steampunk. I’d love to see more patterns for clothes that are steampunk or can be made to look steampunk easily.

My favorite items to sew from different eras are the simple and feminine dresses of the Regency era, “pioneer” dresses from the mid 1800’s, and the feedsack dresses of the 1930’s and 40’s. Girl For All Time dolls wear historical clothing beautifully! Something about their posture. I already have Clementine and Amelia, with Lydia on her way! Although I’ve sewn mostly historical dresses for them, I would love to see some elegant modern day party dress patterns. Something more couture but not too difficult as these dolls are very slim and a bit harder to sew for. (I’d also love to see some nightgown and pajama patterns for Kidz n Cats dolls!) Its very hard to pick a favorite era, I enjoy Victorian era, Colonial, ethic patterns, 1940’s through modern times. I just love to sew and enjoy picking from all era’s.
Don’t have a particular favorite time period, but would love to see clothing from all the countries where the people of the United States came from- a melting pot of clothing, both ceremonial and every day.

I love all eras but I would love to see more patterns from the early 1800s because I love to see the evolution of silhouettes in these decades. And I love intricate patterns that are copies of real life items like the jean jacket!
