My New Year’s plans include sewing for Stitchin KIds when I can — a charity that makes doll clothes for kids in the hospital. I just discovered this organization yesterday through a comment posted on Pixie Faire. I checked it out, and it looks like a perfect way to brighten children’s days with doll clothes. Thanks Pixie Faire for the 12 Days of Christmas comment section or I wouldn’t have run across this site.
My new year’s plans include sewing the doll outfits I didn’t have time to create in December, including the Silk Road dress and ugly sweaters from socks.

My husband and I are so fortunate to have so many wonderful friends, and it is indeed rare to have friendships that span decades, and we are particularly close with a couple that we first met in the nursery at church! That is very unique because it happened over 60 years ago! We love them like family and we are bringing in the new year with them around the kitchen table playing pinochle, just we’ve done for many years. May the Lord bless everyone as we continue to serve and honor Him through the coming year.
After some sorting, I plan to put the things back into my pantry closet. For Christmas, my husband is busy expanding the shelving for better space use. The stuff in the closet filled my foyer! Get out the garbage bags!!!! LOL After that, it’s on to the closet in my office space.
My 4 granddaughters are “sleeping over” tonight so I’m sure party hats and horns will be the theme tonight! Happy New Year to all! May 2020 be filled with many hours of sewing!
