My New Years plans are to just enjoy life. Sew a little, read a little, travel a little and enjoy family a lot. Happy New Year.
My New Year plans are to make time for my crafts, plan our vow renewal ceremony, and build my children’s toys business (including my doll clothes made from recycled material).
My New Years Day plans include cutting out 9 various AGD coats. My Great Granddaughter has 7 AGD dolls and I have 2. I make 9 varied outfits of the same theme (ie: party gowns, reversible dresses, etc.) at one time, She gets first pick of 7 of them. The last 2 are mine. Plans for the rest of the New Year include garden, garden, garden!
MY NEW YEARS PLANS INCLUDE opening my new sewing/embroidery machine and selling my older machines. I want to make tons of lovely things for Christmas and Birthdays.

My New Year’s plans include more sewing for my dolls. I just sent a two pound box of clothing from my shop to a little girl whose parents could not afford a doll for Christmas. A wonderful lady purchased one of my dolls, and when I found out, I purged my shop and stash and sent her several outfits with shoes to match—now to sew up more to fill it up again. The feeling we get from giving to others is what I want to feel all year long!!!
My New Year’s plans include finishing my classes I signed up for and practicing my hand sewing skills. I will also try to find a little time to learn how to use my embroidery machine. Last semester I finished my Pattern Making class, learned more about my Husqvarna Viking Opal sewing machine, and getting to know a bit about my serger. So much to do!
My New Years Day plans include picking up my daughter and her family from the airport (they live in Michigan and we live in Texas). The rest of the day will be visiting and eating with them and the family that live here.

My New Years plan is to continue to complete a new pattern for granddaughter each week. She has a wonderful wardrobe for her 18 inch dolls. Did this since October to learn new techniques and perfect my sewing skills. I sew as therapy which helped this year while my sweet husband once again beat lymphoma. I would love to have this system. I can use on my quilts as well.

I made her one with blunt needles (tapestry), fabric, pearl cotton and safety pins for Mommy to pin her projects together before she sews. My oldest daughter who is 43, is developmentally disabled. She is married to a wonderful man and gave me my two grandsons. She was given an AG for Christmas as this was her dearest wish. My New Years’ plans this year are to make her the historical outfits I have been yearning to make, but my granddaughters eschew. She is excited about this as she had Molly when she was a child and has since lost her. She and her family live in California and I am not able to see them more than once a year, so this will be a way to love on her from afar.
