My New Year’s Eve plans include hanging out with my BFF, crocheting a little, reading a little, and going to bed before midnight! There will probably be tea and chocolate involved. New Year’s Day is a drive through the countryside from her retirement property back to her main home to join her husband where we’ll basically repeat New Year’s Eve. Not sure if the world can survive two such rabble-rousers. LOL #GangOf2
My plans for 2020 include doing more of the crafts I love. I have about two dozen dresses for 18” dolls cut out and ready to sew. I hope to finish them and find a craft fair where I can sell them. I have been thinking about doing a craft fair for a few years and I hope 2020 will be my year! In addition, I recently purchased the SWC Hand Sewing course and I plan to start that in January. Finally, I would like to make more time to knit, for people as well as dolls. Happy New Year!

My New Years Plans Include just surviving another day, Having just gone through a series of cancer surgeries, radiation, bad reaction to the drugs given during surgery, physical therapy to learn to walk again, my only enjoyment is making is sewing. I have many dolls in my collection of all sorts of shapes and sizes and hope to make/find/allow myself the time to make outfits for them rather than spending so much time browsing the internet and admiring the many many wonderful creations out there. I sew regularly, and am constantly learning, but have so far made but a few items for dolls. I have decided a day or two each month Will be set to allow myself the time to enjoy the learning experience and will put these days (thinking the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month) in the diary.
Three of our five children with their families will be here to celebrate the new year and their father’s 76 birthday.
