I SEW (and sometimes knit or CORCHET) on an average of 30 or more a week…I do it because I love doing it and because it is therapy, for my currant home situation, I can get away from the loud volume TV that my husband watches and the horrible programs he watches. I do it for a bit of spending money (mending and alterations that I do for the public and my family), and I love making doll clothes….for my grandchildren and all my little friends….Some of it I get paid for and a lot I do not because I do it for little ones who would not get it otherwise. I have given many dolls and full wardrobes of clothes away just because I love the little girls I do it for…Sewing is something that you can see for your time and effort. I take pride in everything I do… If a job is worth doing it is worth doing WELL and I was taught to do it as unto the Lord. Quality is important to me…I am a senior on a very limited old age security pension budget.
