I sew primarly as a hobby, eventually i ’ve turned it into a business on street market.I try to sew every day, even for a little while.
I sew for enjoyment. I love testing patterns for designers and then giving the clothes to my granddaughters for their dolls or for them to give their friends. I also sew for fundraisers. On average I sew about 6-10 hours a week unless it is close to our church bazaar — then it is more like 30-40 hours a week.
I sew and occasionally knit or crochet primarily as a hobby. On average, I spend a few hours a week sewing.
I sew as a hobby; mostly doll clothes and household items. I have very little time to sew in summer, but during the winter, I sew for 2-3 hours everyday.
I sew mostly for enjoyment. I really like watching a piece of fabric come to life. It always amazes me. I sew about 5-6 hours on average.
I sew primarily as a hobby and also as a way of life since i sew all my own clothes. On everage i spend 4 8 hour days in my sewing room
My sewing has been mostly for the fun of sewing. Making clothes for my grand daughter has been a bonus. Now that she is into high school she has put away her dolls, so have moved to creating doll clothes for Church events. Made a set of clothes for a fund raising auction for a bike trail. Right now spending time sewing is a goal.
I sew primarily as a hobby, but I’d like to turn it into a business eventually. I haven’t calculated out my hours, but I tend to go in ups and downs, where I’ll be sewing a ton one week and not at all the next. Not the most efficient. ;-)
Thanks for the giveaway! I love Shari Fuller’s stuff!
