Hi Everyone! This week we get to look at sewing shoes with vinyl fabric. This may seem a bit intimidating, but honestly it gets easier with just a bit of practice. Of course, having the right supplies on hand helps too!
In the video posted below, I walk you through the process while using vinyl to make a pair of Open Toe Janes shoes Enjoy!

Next Tuesday - Week 4: In Depth Q & A video (got questions?... post them below or on FB and I'll try my best to include answers!)
You have eyelets and buckles on the shoe supply list.
Are there any plans to do a video on making shoes with eyelets or buckles?
I would really like to see a video on making doll shoes with eyelets like tennis shoes or boots.
BTW, thanks for the links to all the supplies as Joann’s, Micheal’s, and Hobby Lobby don’t seem to carry the 1/8" or 3/16" eyelets, or 5 or 6 mm EVA foam anymore.
What weight of chip board do you use for the soles? I can find medium weight.
