Let's Make Dollistocks: Part 1

Hi Everyone! Are you ready for another shoe making course? I'm excited to introduce the Let's Make Dollistocks Course! Over this four part series, I'll walk you through the supplies needed, introduce a few new Pixie Pack shoe kits, talk about sole prep, demonstrate the shoe making process, and show you a few cute alternative ideas!

Let's get started with a look at the supplies need to make the Dollistocks! For this series, I have simplified the process by using a precut 6mm cork sole, which means no layering the sole pieces or wrapping trim around the sides. So you'll skip all of those steps in the pattern and start with the sole prep and designing the straps.

The full tutorial will kick off in Part 2. To get started, I encourage you to watch the video, get your supplies, and then prep your soles as shown in the video. Then you'll be ready to jump in and continue with the course!

A few notes about the Dollistocks Shoe pattern:

• The pattern is available in two sizes.
• Dollistocks for 18-inch Dolls
• Dollistocks for 13-14.5 inch dolls - the current version of this size (with a Shape 2 sole) states it's for H4H and Les Cheries dolls, but we've confirmed that this also fits Ruby Red Fashion Friends - yay! You can see the example pictures in the video, they're super cute! We've also confirmed that the pattern pieces for the steps can be used with a Shape 3 Sole and that will fit a WellieWishers doll!
