My biggest challenge is destashing my machines and material. I made over 3,000 free masks for my community. As parents died, I found 2 machines and an almost new serger and lots of material and thread on my front porch. I now have 2 embroidery machines, 2 sergers, and 9 sewing machines and boxes of material stacked to the ceiling in 2 rooms.
Oh my, the tiny details are the most fun! I appreciate all video demonstrations. Thank you🥰
I would love a SWC class about buttons and buttonholes. More shoe classes, please!!! This year I am most looking forward to the Barbie class. Is there a chance we could get a pixie pack for Barbie’s black and white swimsuit on an 18 inch scale?
My biggest sewing challenge is finding time
My biggest challenge is time. There are never enough hours in the day to sew everything I want to sew.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding right scale fabric.

I would love to see some tutorials on making props/food/toys etc

I like the Sew Powerful program and what it accomplishes. I will find some time in 2024 to sew some more purses and donate to help keep these young girls in school.
My biggest sewing challenge is balancing everyday life (work, housework, grandkids, etc) and sewing. I have projects on the go and need to finish them. Hopefully I’ll be retiring in the next 5 yrs and am excited for that day to come.
My biggest sewing challenge is having enough time to make all the things in my project list.
My biggest sewing challenge is sewing on lightweight fabric without it getting all bunched up when I start to sew.
My biggest challenge lately is carving out the time in a busy schedule. I love to sew things that have fine details. It’s amazing how how little things like eyelets can take an hour (or two) to hand stitch.
One of my biggest challenges is sewing button holes.
My biggest sewing challenge is interpreting an antique illustration into doll clothing— deciding which elements to incorporate, choosing sewing techniques for authenticity and reducing bulk, and getting the right silhouette. I’d love to see more historical courses!
My biggest challenge is always putting it all together , sewing it right with no mistakes
My biggest sewing challenge organizing space and projects so I can productively use smaller chunks of time.
My biggest challenge is selecting and cutting fabrics that are appropriately scaled.
My biggest sewing challenge is getting my grand daughter interested in sewing. Now that she has her own 18" doll, I am hoping to get her involved.
My biggest sewing challenge is buttonholes.
I avoid button holes because I have a old sewing machine that doesn’t make them easily.
I enjoy watching your videos on sewing for dolls. I have taken any of your SWC classes.
Very informative . Thank you
My biggest challenge is sewing a straight line for some reason I just can’t. I would also like to see some embroidery patterns for dolls.
invisible zippers are a challenge for me
invisible zippers are the challenge for me
Your pattern selections are just wonderful. I especially like the historical fashions for the 18 inch dolls.
I need to get back to sewing garments for the dolls as I have 2 new granddaughters. I like to be creative with material for the dolls.
My biggest sewing challenge was sewing with knits until I heard Cinnamon say to use a coffee filter under the fabric to keep it from going down into the machine. I use a coffee filter on the entire seam if it is a thin knit. I used to use tissue paper but the filter works best. Good suggestion Cinnamon.
This is the 3rd day in a row that you have the same starting statement. Either way, I do have some challenges when it comes to sewing. Some material I cannot seem to work well with, sometimes it may be the pattern itself. Other times, finding the creativity, initiative, or the inspiration but all of these challenges are met full force with my determination that I will conquer this challenge or give up that issue of a particular challenge. For instance, I cannot work with sheer material therefore, I choose all my projects that don’t require sheer material. But for the most part, I give each challenge my all and try my best to conquer it.
My biggest challenge is sewing on such a small scale. I’ve sewn clothes for many years, but I have trouble with getting things just right with the doll clothes because of the size.
My biggest trouble is finding tiny notions and then the time to sew them all up!
Wishing all a wonderful Holiday Season and a Creative New Year.
My biggest sewing challenge is necklines and similar curved seams. I sew by hand so it’s harder to keep it flat and straight.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding the time to complete everything I want to make. I had to drop so many things off my ‘list’ this year. The full-time job really cuts into my sewing time (lol).
My biggest sewing challenge is getting over my fear of zippers and button holes.
My biggest challenge is finding the best sized notions. I often make outfits spontaneously and haven’t thought to order online so have to rummage through my stash to find things like zippers, buttons, etc.
Always will be zippers I think, they are worse than curves!
My biggest sewing challenge is sewing tiny zippers!
My biggest sewing challenge is finding enough space to work on my projects.
I could really use some instruction on how to change a zipper in men’s pants
My biggest challenge is learning how to knit. I have been crocheting for years and knitting seems a little awkward.
Buttonholes are a challenge
My biggest sewing challenge is sewing curved seams like armholes and necklines, and also sewing with knit fabric.
My biggest sewing challenge is to find the time. Seems like every time I plan to sew then something else comes up. My goal for 2024 is to carve out dedicated sewing time to complete projects that I have going on and some that I haven’t started yet.
I prefer the courses with sewing help rather than the sew-alongs, but both are always helpful!
I’ve been making doll cloths for 18” dolls primarily in knit, crochet and sewn. I would like to learn how to downsize an adult pattern to doll size. I’d like to get the fundamentals of designing.
Zippers!,
Now that I watched the simple shoes video, I’m ready to try making them.
My biggest challenge is the finishing details..buttonholes, fasteners, shoes
I would like some course on altering patterns for different sized dolls as well as developing small change styles from a single pattern.
My biggest sewing challenge is deciding what I want to make.
My biggest sewing challenge is Time & Space. No matter how well I plan and set aside a few minutes here and there, I am called to help someone out . . . Because I have planned out several projects my sewing corner seems to be shrinking. So, now I think I may try praying as soon as I get the idea to sneak in there to get something done . . . !
My biggest sewing challenge is perfectionism. It stifles me from doing any work because I try to hard to “get it right”
My biggest challenge is altering the patterns so they can match my granddaughter’s dance outfits. Her Christmas gift request.
My biggest challenge is being a perfectionist. I keep “fussing” with things that I think need something when everyone else says they are perfect. LOL!
My biggest struggle is finding a permanent sewing space and time.
My biggest sewing challenge is sewing button holes so that they are all the same size & look.
My biggest sewing challenge is sewing with tulle.
My biggest challenge is selecting a doll scale fabric for each outfit. I’ve found your directions to be wonderful. Also would love you to carry small sized metal snaps for the denim jackets.
My biggest sewing challenge is time!
My girls and boys love the denim jackets!
My biggest sewing challenge is finding time to do it!

My biggest sewing challenge is finishing things by self imposed deadlines.
My biggest challenge is how to keep everything that I made together and organized.
My biggest sewing challenge is sewing gatherers to bodice or straight fabric.
My biggest sewing challenge is paying attention to the smallest details.
