or fill in the blank "My biggest sewing challenge is______"
My biggest sewing challenge is finding the hardware or supplies needed locally or nationally, as well as time to use them. XD
…making multiples of one item without getting bored!
My biggest sewing challenge is finding time.
My biggest challenge is zippers. No matter how many i have done they just don’t seem to come out right.
My biggest challenge is with zippers.
My biggest sewing challenge is keeping my projects organized—I tend to collect bits & pieces as I imagine the finished outfit. It could be months before I actually make it so I need a better system than tossing stuff on a shelf!
My biggest sewing challenge is finding doll sized accessories like zippers.
My biggest sewing challenge is picking my next project from all the things I enjoy sewing. Doll clothes, quilts and baby items :)
My biggest challenge is I have so many hobbies I like to engage in!
My biggest sewing challenge is matching the fabric prints with prints for the pattern .
Eg: dress and pinafore.
My biggest challenge is sewing together all the more details outfits. I usually cut out several outfits at a time. That way I can sew several outfits one behind to other. I can sew the easier patterns faster and have a complete outfit finished in no time. The more detail patterns I keep putting off because they will take more time.
Convincing myself that I don’t need to buy new fabric for an outfit- – that I really do have the perfect fabric already in my stash
My biggest challenge is being able to sit as long as I want to sew without having to go do something else.
I cut out the fabric but don’t have time to sew.
My biggest challenge is finding enough hours in the day to sew everything I have planned to get sewn.
My biggest challenge sewing with jersey knits. I have a walking foot and have tried using coffee filters, but it is still tricky.
My biggest challenge is doing housework etc. I would much rather be at my doll clothing sewing than cleaning, baking, etc.
My biggest sewing challenge is deciding what project to work on next.
I biggest challenge is finding zippers and fabric to scale for my doll clothes.
My biggest sewing challenge is buttonholes.
My biggest challenge is finishing one project before I start another.
My biggest sewing challenge is finishing projects I start.
Sounds great
Keeping organized.
My biggest challenge is finding time to sew!
Getting started and knowing if I follow the pattern it will fit!
My biggest challenge is finding space and time to work on my projects.
My biggest challenge is finding a way to sell what I have. It’s not that I want to make a lot of money but to have little people to enjoy what I have made. I enjoy your website and get a lot from it, not just patterns.
My biggest challenge is getting a sewing supply in the mail and not putting it in a memorable place. Then when I want to use it, I can’t find it!
My biggest challenge is finding enough time.
My biggest sewing challenge is TIME. There is sooo much to sew and not enough time.
My biggest challenge is having so many projects going that sometimes it’s overwhelming and I don’t work on any!
I have trouble when I have points to connect
My biggest challenge is working with faux leather and not being able to use pins with it.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding the right size print for doll clothes.
My biggest sewing challenge is not having my own sewing studio.
My biggest challenge is slippery material, as much as I try I just can’t get it.
My biggest sewing challenge is picking a main colour and t picking a pattern and, worse of all, it’s picking co-ordinating fabrics. Help!!!
My biggest challenge is coordinating my fabrics. I spend more time choosing the fabrics then sewing the outfit.
My biggest challenge is time.
My biggest challenge is sewing fabrics such as chiffon and making buttonholes.
MY biggest sewing challenge is having time and space for all my projects.
Is time to do what I want
My biggest challenge is slippery fabric, so I just avoid it!
Historical sewing would be fun.
My biggest challenge is time for everything I want to do.
My biggest challenge is sewing with stretch fabrics.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding time and energy to use many of the fabrics I already loved enough to buy!!
My biggest sewing challenge is special fabrics. Especially the silky slippery ones.
My biggest challenge is actually starting a new project. It’s just so much fun to research it lol
Id love to know how to make the “placket” below the velcro closure on a dress look neater. It always seems to look crooked when the vecro is closed. Thank you!
My biggest challenge is button holes on garments
My biggest challenge is button holes on garments
my biggest challenge is zippers
I am so very excited for this years SWC topics. So happy to see that many of them are dealing with history especially at Williamsburg. Also love the idea of Back to School thru the ages. Oh my the Barbie outfits will be so much fun. I was blessed to be able to order the American Girl Barbie doll. She is so cute. Sadly will not be here till November of 2024. Cannot wait to see the outfits you pick for that month.
My biggest challenge is making sure I finish something before getting started on something that “has” to be done soon…
I’d love to learn more about neater finishes for a more professional look. Also beautiful hand- finishing techniques.
My biggest challenges are keeping my sewing/craft room organized so that I can find the things I need and learning how to adjust the tension on my sewing machine so I don’t end up with rat nests!
One of my biggest sewing challenges is my messy sewing room. I had storage space in the basement, but the love of my life (my husband) has taken over my space! How can I get his stuff out of my space in a kind and helpful way?
My biggest sewing challenge right now is overhauling my sewing room. I’ve pretty much moved on from the things that I used to like to sew to predominantly doll clothes, so I have a huge fabric stash to pare down.
Staying organized and keeping my work place clean.
I would love to see a tutorial on the Tokyo Libby Steam Jacket & Skirt pattern.
I would love to see a tutorial on how to adjust the fit of the doll clothes. My granddaughter has both AG dolls and OG and frequently the pattern as printed will fit one but not the other.
getting downstairs to my sewing room since having back surgery. hoping t9 finally get there after the new year.
My biggest sewing challenge is deciding what to sew first!! I can never make up my mind.
Finding the time to sew.
My biggest sewing challenge is workig with tiny closures and finding fabrics with size appropriate prints.
My biggest sewing challenge is workig with tiny closures and finding fabrics with size appropriate prints.
Biggest challenge is chiffon
I love all the patterns and look forward to the day when I can just sit and sew all day long, or all week long!
Tiny buttons and holes
My biggest challenge is finding appropriate length separating zippers for jackets – still haven’t found them yet.
Oh dear! Bitty buttonholes are the bne of my life!
My biggest sewing challenge is button holes. I’ve had buttonhole attachments that don’t work. Or the buttonhole setting on my machine doesn’t work or maybe it’s me!….LOL
The sewing supply I find most helpful is a fabric spray glue that can be used on the fabric used to make shoes or even belts and purses for the dolls. It creates a smooth thin layer between the surface and the lining without adding bulk.
The video on shortening and enclosing a separating zipper most helpful to me.
Finding enough time
I find it hard to get enough time
My biggest challenge is making my patterns fit my older A G doll .
My biggest sewing challenge is trying to decide which fabric to use for different patterns and seasons.
My biggest challenge is making something someone else would want, knowing what I like might not be what others like
My biggest sewing challenge is working with knit fabric
My biggest sewing challenge is trying to decide what to do with all of the material I already have. I usually end up buying something specific for the project I want to work on instead of using what I already have.
I have made Plain Janes with a pretty satin type fabric to match an evening gown that I made. I’ve made sneakers in tie-dye canvas fabric, but my favorites are the combat boots that I made. Instead of a smooth sole, I found a pattern online to make a sole with a tread like a boot. It requires a 3-D printer to make them and, it just so happens that, my friend’s son has one! The boots look so much better with those soles and I know they will look good for motorcycle boots and snow boots too!
The biggest challenge for me is sewing curved and rounded seams!
My biggest challenge is finding small prints on knit fabrics. I have repurposed infant clothing from thrift stores, you really have to look them over for wear and stains. Lighting in those shops is not the best. I keep trying.
Historical costumes would be fun. Let’s do a sew all h
My biggest struggle is figuring out how to get Shari Fuller to move into the house next to me so I can draw on her experience and she can teach me to sew.
My biggest challenge is deciding what to sew. I want to sew many things.
Sewing tiny clothes with set in sleeves for 8" baby doll and 6" AG mini dolls

My biggest sewing challenge is trying to decide what I’m going to next: bedspreads, a dress, pants and jackets for the boys…what’s a girl to do?
