I’d love to learn how to scale patterns UP from smaller sizes. One of my Christmas gifts this year was a book of patterns for Barbie clothing, but I really prefer making clothes for 18" dolls and it would be awesome if I could scale the patterns in the book up to the correct size.

I’d love to learn how to do more with my serger to make doll garments. I have taken serger classes, but they don’t teach garment construction, which is different than with the sewing machine. They only teach how to do different stitches.
My favortie Pixie Faire course is the one on making shoes. It took me into a whole new world of creating fashion for the dolls. What fun!

I’d love to learn how to create a precise sloper. I’ve taken Pattern Academy and have the knowledge to make a garment from the slopers provided in the course but I’d love to learn how to make the actual sloper! I have a number of dolls in my collection for which there are few patterns available. If I knew how to create a sloper, it would give me more sewing options!
I’d love to learn button holes. Doll size button holes are so tiny! I loved the sewing courses, and found sewing with knits to be very helpful. I did them a long while ago and I’m not sure what’s offered currently.
I haven’t had a lot of time to put the tutorials to use due to other obligations however I enjoy the ones that show how to make shoes, accessories and short cuts/hacks. I really like the detailed items and when my sister , who sews alot and goes to shows, I enjoy seeing the finished items first hand when I help with the shows.

My favorite Pixie Faire tutorials are those hacks that show me how to make small changes to the clothing (flowers, buttons etc) to make it more individualized for my style.
1) I’d love to learn to sew knits more neatly.
2) my favorite pattern hack is changing the blue jeans pattern to cargo pants. I simply sewed gusseted pockets and flaps along the side ending at about the knee. I also sewed these pockets and flaps for the back pockets too.

My favorite pattern hack is the Vintage Playsuit pattern hack because I love pleats. This hack added the pleats but still left the fit and ease of a gathered skirt.
Wow. . . I’m not sure.what i.want.to learn (I love learning new things. I think at this point, I would love to learn some new knitting techniques that would work to help make the knit doll patterns easier/nicer finish. And maybe, knitting doll socks. . . 😁

My favorite Pixie Faire pattern hack that I have used is the bell sleeve hack. My girls absolutely love the shirt and dress that I was able to create from it.
I would love to learn more about making footwear for different size dolls. I think this fashion accessory is often overlooked and should be added to any doll’s wardrobe.

I’d love to learn how to design my own patterns. Unfortunately, money is tight right now so I will have to wait to take a course on how to do it.
My favorite Pixie Faire pattern hack is ALL of them because I love it when I can take a pattern and put a little hacking to it to create a whole new design look from any pattern. Thank you Pixie Faire for the opportunity this 12 Days of Christmas is providing. Good luck to everyone.
