I’d love to learn how to do more with my serger to make doll garments. I have taken serger classes, but they don’t teach garment construction, which is different than with the sewing machine. They only teach how to do different stitches.
My favortie Pixie Faire course is the one on making shoes. It took me into a whole new world of creating fashion for the dolls. What fun!

I’ve taken Pattern Academy and have the knowledge to make a garment from the slopers provided in the course but I’d love to learn how to make the actual sloper! I have a number of dolls in my collection for which there are few patterns available. If I knew how to create a sloper, it would give me more sewing options!

I haven’t had a lot of time to put the tutorials to use due to other obligations however I enjoy the ones that show how to make shoes, accessories and short cuts/hacks. I really like the detailed items and when my sister , who sews alot and goes to shows, I enjoy seeing the finished items first hand when I help with the shows.

2) my favorite pattern hack is changing the blue jeans pattern to cargo pants. I simply sewed gusseted pockets and flaps along the side ending at about the knee. I also sewed these pockets and flaps for the back pockets too.
