My favorite props are the mini flowers that I found in the wedding section at Hobby Lobby. I use them to make a wedding bouquet 💐 to go with the bride dress, Veil, shoes, slip panties and Garter for my doll to walk down the isle. And I use them on the Bridal party dresses and their bouquets as well. Absolutely adorable. I get lots of positive comments.

My favorite mini prop is AG Rebecca’s Tea Set. I found it AG store.” Well, actually it is one of the few “favorites” that I have out all of the time. The Tea Set sits in my library book shelves, along with Kit’s thermos (part of the Sled Set). I love the Gold Urn with the crystal glasses and treats sitting on the embroidered table mats with the plaid thermos next to it. I also love this 1-inch crystal Lotus flower that I found traveling about. That sits on the table in the AG van next to the AG laptop. They just make me happy to see them.

My favorite mini prop is making miniature books. I have found book covers on different websites and I print them off and add pages, decoupage the cover to some cardstock or posterboard, then add a hanger to hang on the tree! So cute.

When I make and donate outfits, along with an 18" doll, I love to make the outfit totally complete! Making purses and bags to complete the outfit or even hair barrettes or pony-ties to match an outfit, makes me feel it is complete. I have also knitted sweaters for little stuffed bears, to provide the doll with something to hold and cuddle! It is all so much fun!

I am the Literary Chariman for our DAR Chapter. I started doing this about 5 years ago. Before the book selection I talk to the students about life during the beginning of our country. The students get to try to use some of the toys, My dolls are dressed like Betsy Ross and Paul Revere.
