I have a White brand sewing machine. I like that it is easy to use, as I’m teaching my daughter’s to sew.
I actually don’t know what kind of machine I use, as it doesn’t have a brand name anywhere. All’s I know is that its old (probably 1980s). What I love most about my machine is that it just keeps going! plus I can almost always fix it without majorly messing anything up. :)
I use a Janome MC8000 and a serger. The Janome is wonderful. It lets me work on delicate fabrics and produce beautiful embroidery. And, my serger!… (can’t remember the brand)…..I would not want to be without. All my seams are finished and it beats using Fray Chek. I love sewing, especially for the cute little Wellie Wishers.
I use a Brother SE1800. I have had Brother machines for years and I love the dependability. I also love that it is an embroidery machine too.
I use multiple machines when sewing… Bernina 440, Babylock Ellagio and Babylock Serger. Each machine has some unique functions all their own, which is why I use them all – depending on what I’m making. I’d say I use my Bernina the most though, as I love the way it sews and it’s just a nice little machine.
I use a Husqvarna Viking Epic machine. I love it because of all of the stitches, the ease of use, and most importantly, because it is also an embroidery machine.
I use a Sears machine. I like it because it is reliable.
I currently use a Singer Futura for my own sewing projects. It is dependable and offers a wide variety of stitches. Recently I have spent a considerable amount of time using a little Janome machine teaching my 7 year old twin grandchildren to sew. It sews slowly and has a finger guard around the needle which is ideal for the pillows and small projects we work on together.
I have a Singer One Plus which I love. This year Santa brought me a featherweight and my son gave me a serger. So I am officially in Sewing Heaven!
I sew with a Bernina 830. Started sewing 4H projects when I was 9 . I like the dual feed and the ability to quilt using the embroidery hoop.
I use a Pfaff sewing machine. The thing I like most about it is that you do not have to unthread the machine to rewind the bobbin.
I use a kenmore machine and I like the needle down position.
I use a New Home HF2022. The thing I like most about it is that it is so easy to use and sews through almost anything.
I use an older machine. It’s called a Sonya. It’s made by singer. My husband bought it for me when we first got married. That’s been over 30 years ago. Yes it still works. What I love about it is that it does still work and I know exactly what to do if anything goes wrong.
I use a Singer sewing machine my husband gifted me when my other basic, hand-me-down-through-the-generations died. I still have a lot of learning to do about sewing. I make dolly clothes for all of my nieces and look forward to teachIng them how to create their own.
I use an old Bernina 802. The thing I like most about it is that it belonged to my grandmother.
I use a singer sewing machine. The thing I like most about it is it is simple to use. I learned how to sew from reading patterns and watching tutorials, the easy machine is helpful!
I use a Pfaff 7570…Not new any longer but still going strong. Could not survive without the dual feed…sees in anything.
I use a 40 yr old Singer that my Dad bought for my Mom. It’s very simple and easy to use. I love using it because it brings back so many memories of the things my Mom made us. This machine has sewn everything from matching Easter dresses for my sister and I to curtains for my very first apartment. Thanks for the wonderful giveaways!
Hi! I’m using a Janome 6600P. I’ve always sewn on Janomes ever since learning to sew. I love this particular machine because it has an integrated walking foot! It makes sewing layers and even fine fabrics such a pleasure!

I have a brother basic sewing machine, I love it because it is simple to use and sews beautifully
I use a Husqvarna Ruby and a Brothers PC Pacesetter sewing/embroidery machines… The thing I like most about these two machines is not only does it allow you to either sew or embroider using the same machine but both machines have lots of different stitches to choose from and just learning what the machines can do is just as fun and exciting as creating a new project to sew, quilt or embroider.
I use a Brother machine that my daughter bought for me last year for Christmas after my Kenmore was dying. )Still hanging on to it because of the free arm) The Brother has so many stitches that I have yet to use. I also have 2 sergers and a Brother embroidery machine. I love being able to do a finished edge on anything I make.
“I use a Necchi Heavy Duty Household Sewing Machine. The thing I like most about it is it’s easy to use, super easy to maintain and is so very dependable.
I have a Janome Magnolia 7318. The thing I love about it is that my kids gave it to me for Christmas one year when my 70’s Kenmore was deemed unrepairable. I do not have a serger. I feel threatened by the threading and tensioning process!
The Singer treadle sewing machine I inherited from my grandmother. It sews exactly where I want it to and deals with fabric from chiffon through rubber-backed upholstery velvets.
I use a Elna and have a serger I would love to learn to use
I have a 12 year old Kenmore and it is the greatest. I have had many machines since I got my first one at 14 and I’m now 71 but I love this the best. It has never lets me down, sews through what ever I ask it to and sews the straightest line I have ever seen! Can’t ask for much more.
I use a Janome, I love everything about jt. It has embroidery on it, and a wide variety of stitches.. I love that machine!
I use a Viking Opal 690Q. The thing I like most about it is the fabric settings.
I use a Brother XR9500PRW. The thing I like most about it is the nice variety of basic and decorative stitches. It is great for quilting, doll clothes and other crafts.
I use two Bernina machine – 930 and 180. I use both of them (almost) on a daily basis because they are soooo dependable. I started when I was 8 yrs old with my Grandmother’s treadle sewing machine where I had to put books on the treadle so my legs would reach it. Don’t laugh – I’m old but my granddaughter would love getting the doll.
I currently have a Baby Lock (Grace) and I love it because of the drop down bobbin case, self threading and the button hole attachment. It is just a beautiful dependable machine to use. It is also my granddaughter’s machine of choice when she comes to sew.
I use a Kenmore basic sewing machine. I have a couple other machines, but I always go back to this one. It does the stitching that I need and is easy to operate.
I use a computerized machine that has a variety of stitches. I love the ability to change up stitches.
I sew on a BabyLock Symphony which I adore because it sews QUIET and SMOOTH. Thank you for the opportunity to win this doll and set. I cannot tell you how much she would be appreciated.
I use a Kenmore basic sewing machine. I have a couple other machines, but I always go back to this one. It does the stitching that I need and is easy to operate.
I have had many machines in my lifetime. I currently have a kenmore computerized machine that I’ve had for about 15 years and it’s still going strong. I like that it has a variety of stitches, needle up down and a needle threader. I recently bought a brother se625. I like the embroidery features, but also like the needle threader, automatic thread cutter and built in buttonholes.
I also have a singer serger and a four thread brother serger. Love my machines!
I use a Brother sewing and embroidery machine. It is great as it allows me to personalize the items I make.
I have my grandmother’s Universal sewing machine which I have used for 60 years. I started sewing on it when I was 15 and I am now 75. It is one of the early zig-zag machines, all metal, and quite heavy duty. I can sew almost anything I need to on it. I would love to know how many yards of fabric have been made into clothing, drapes, household goods, gifts, etc. over the years. It has been quite faithful.
I use a baby lock . What I like about is it easy to use and can button holes for me
I use a 35 year old Kenmore (non-computerized) sewing machine as my tried- and- true, trouble free (I can sew all day and still turn out fabulous buttonholes) option. I also have a computerized Brother machine which loves knits and a Kenmore serger which never fails me. I live in terror of losing either one of them!! ;-)
I use an Elna sewing machine. I love it because it is sturdy, reliable and versatile. I have had it since the 70s, hailed it around the world, and it works flawlessly.
I use a JCPenney model that my mom bought 30 years ago. I like that it can do a zig zag and buttonholes, but is still simple enough for easy use and maintenance.
Good Morning!

Before that I used Mom’s old machine, a Nelco, that her mother bought for her when she was pregnant with me. I take care of a good machine and I have used it a lot for baby clothes, altering clothes, doll clothes, quilts, curtains, etc. I really love my machine.
I use a couple sewing machines and also have a couple of sergers. I like my Janome for the variety of stitches and automatic needle threader. A year ago I got an old White sewing machine that had been used and abused. I cleaned it up and reset the tension. I love it for the punching power of the motor and needle. First machine I’ve had that can sew velcro with ease. I’ve had a serger since I worked at a fabric store 35 years ago and have been through several of them. I use it to finish seams on everything and for sewing knits. I am really enjoying this contest, reading lots of comments.

Well I inherited my mommas old sewing machine when I married my husband 13 years ago! Lol! It was old then so you can believe it is old now!… The thing I like most about it is that it is not electronic. My hubby is a five star mechanic but he has also learned many other trades due to the economy crisis and a move to another state. He can fix about anything…including my sewing machine!

fabric to another with this machine.

I use a Singer and a Pfaff for sewing. There are features on each one that I like. The Singer has a thread cutter and needle down feature. The Pfaff has a better zipper foot.
I’m on my 3rd Kenmore sewing machine (which is a Janome). It cost me $1000 new, it quilts, embroiders and has many decorative stitches. It’s over 10 years old and I’m saving up for a new Janome.Since sewing machine went computer, life is so much easier! I still have my green one from the 70’s and my first computer machine with 100 decorative stitches from the mid 80’s.
I have several machines but my favorite is my 15 year old Husqvarna/Viking Huskystar. It’s basic and solid and works great for everything. It’s like the Energizer Bunny… It takes a licking and keeps on ticking… If this one goes, I would definitely get a new Husky…

I use an old Singer 626 sewing machine… The thing I like most about it is that it still works!
I use three machines, Janome is new, still learning and my Brother serger and sewing machine. Love having all three of them lined up on my table. I just roll back and forth, as needed. Janome is great, but I still find myself using the old Brother all the time.
I use a Kenmore sewing machine because of its simplicity

I use two brother machines. One is a serger and the other does regular sewing and embroidery. I like them both a lot.
I have my first machine handed down, a vintage 1970’s singer and now a Brother electronic. I love how easy it is to use now that I am teaching my 7-year-old granddaughter to sew. My birthday gift this year was a Brother serger, still learning about it but so excited to use it.

I use a 45+ year old Singer Touch and Sew and a 34 year old Singer 6268 .I like these two machines because they are predominately metal workhorses with tons of stitches built in.each has its own special feature that I like the most. The 6268 has a great buttonhole function and the other one has a simple multi positonal needle function.
I use a Singer … 2 Brothers … and a classic Bernina:) I use the heavy duty Singer for most of my sewing, but have Brother Serger and Embroidery machines set up, too, for those applications. My classic old Bernina is a back up, just in case. I started sewing when i was 3, next to my mom at the old black Singer, and got my first machine – a hand crank Singer – when I was 5 when I began designing and making clothes for Barbie .. and the rest is history!
I have an old Viking 6440 from the 80’s. I like its all metal gears and solid construction. It is reliable and has cams for embroidery stitches. The clip on feet are easy to change. My singer is old but can easily be set up for her to learn basic sewing. Before retiring, I was a director of a foster care agency and I started a sewing class for our foster kids. They loved the new experience and provided a new skill they could take through life. My granddaughter is so excited to get started. Teaching my grandchild also gives me another exciting hobby!
