I would have to say that tiny buttonholes are still a challenge even after the classes. I have found that freezer paper with the buttonhole space cut out, then ironed on the garment is the best tip ever.
My biggest challenge is deciding on a project and then sticking with it to completion before
I get some other project, present, or idea and create another UFO.
My biggest sewing problem is trying to find fashionable patterns for women

My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is to finish the projects that I start! I have so many started, but I have made up my mind I WILL finish them before starting any others. I have them all together waiting for the Holidays to be over because my granddaughter & her husband are here and my sewing room doubles as guest room.
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is deciding which fabric and colors to use and finding time to sew.
My biggest sewing challenge is not having a room for sewing.
My biggest sewing challenge is to speed up. I take a long time to complete a project but I will redo seams if I don’t like them to get a good finished project. I love to sew, knit, crochet and quilt and I have many UFO’s.
My biggest sewing challenge is stitching through thick areas.
“My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is figuring out which pattern to work on."

My biggest sewing challenge is gathering. It is so hard to get right for me! I love how it looks though.
My biggest sewing or crocheting challenge is to find the time to devote to a project. It seems I just get started and then something comes along to interrupt my train of thought. It helps to stay organized, that way it is easier to just pick up where I left off.
My biggest sewing challenge is gathering. It is always difficult for me to get it right. However, I love the way gathered pieces look, so I’m always willing to give it another shot and hopefully get it right!
My biggest sewing challenge is sewing binding around necklines and armholes on doll sized garments,

My biggest sewing challenge is finding the notions that would add to my outfits.
My biggest sewing challenge is starting the process, but once I get started I can’t stop.

I agree with Kathy Finishing one project before starting another is a challenge!

My biggest sewing challenge is getting lightweight fabrics hemm ed evenly. I have never mastered the roll hem.
“My biggest sewing, knitting, or crocheting challenge is finding the time to sew, knit or crochet and do nothing else during that time but with a husband with Alzheimers in a wheelchair and two granddaughters I look after while Daddy works that is an impossiblity, it just seems I get started doing something and suddenly I am needed elsewhere and then it is hours before I am able to get back to what I was dong and also sometimes the mojo to do stuff is gone. "
My biggest sewing challenge is putting in invisible zipper.
My biggest sewing challenge is pleats. But I am getting better at them. That and knitting. I just dont seem to have the knack yet.
This is such a cute give away!
My biggest sewing challenge is starting projects. I spend so much time debating over patterns and fabrics that it takes me forever to get going. And I hate wasting fabrics so I keep way too many scraps that are large enough to make mouse quilts LOL
My biggest sewing challenge is quilting and getting the seams perfect and my points not cut off.
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is time. So much fabric, so much yarn, so many patterns, so little time!
“My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is time! I am a slow knitter…but a fast sewer. However, I do work full time and I am in the middle or a remodel in the house (being done by my husband, no contractors)

My biggest sewing, knitting or crochet challenge is finding time for those time consuming finishing touches. I get on a roll with assembling the majority of the project, then when I am doing the fine detailed work I invariably get phone calls or visitors that disrupt my plans. Then I have trouble getting back in gear to finish my project. Even if you don’t answer the robocalls, they disrupt your attention.
My biggest sewing challenge is time management
“My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is my hands not to start hurting too fast.
My biggest crochet challenge is the crocodile stitch. I’ve worked on a pair of baby slippers since before my last grandchild was born and I’m still not done. (He’s three now, by the way!) Maybe they will fit one of my dolls if I ever get them finished.
Being able to stay with it long enough to finish!
My biggest challenge is persuading myself that it’s okay to sit down at any time of the day to sew as I tend to think I must get my “chores” done first.
“My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is…..not enough TIME!!! Life always seems to get in the way of the FUN stuff :)
My biggest challenge in sewing, knitting, crocheting, etc. is to find the time and not get anxious for the project to be completed. I love sewing, I do basic knitting, and I’m still trying to learn how to crochet.
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is sewing binding on.
Is my self to keep focus to get any project done. I start a project then move on to another. I have so many UFO to finish.
I don’t have a designated sewing/craft space. So my biggest challenge is gathering up all my sewing supplies that are in boxes here and there and digging the sewing machine out of the closet. Then the dining room table is unavailable for sit down dinner until my project is finished. So that provides me with motivation to get the project done.

“My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is visualizing the way the patterns go together even with step by step instructions. It has always been an bewildering difficulty as I do jigsaw puzzle well…
My biggest challenge is sewing for and with my granddaughters live out of state. On my last visit this summer, we had our first sewing lesson for on a drawstring bag. Am looking forward to another visit and begin making AG clothes.
My biggest challenge is behaving myself. I find myself being distracted from a project by the need for food, sleep, family. But I solved it. About twice a year I disappear into my sewing room. If my husband wants dinner, he makes it, and brings me some. If my brother visits, he can come in because he is on hemming duty. My son threads up needles and irons. When I have not stopped by midnight, my husband shuts off the power. A three day run of this clears a lot of big UFO’s. I feel good for about six months just doing 5-hour projects, and the I’m off again.
I am told there are professionals who can cure me of this, but none of us want to. Apparently my men like what they call their No-Ma Long Weekends.
Thank you Pixie Faire for aiding and abetting. LOL

My biggest sewing, knitting or crochet challenge is time. Never enough time to do what I want.
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is/are (I have two…) keeping the fabric smooth at the beginning and end of a seam on these small projects. The fabric always wants to bunch up or get pushed down through the needle hole of the sole plate. And 2nd, with crochet I have issues keeping the stitches uniform in size."
My biggest knitting challenge is knitting in the round – I’d love to do it and get proficient at it. I’d like to get better at sewing for small dolls, I don’t crochet well, so any improvement would be a big plus!
My biggest sewing challenges are keeping my sewing room organized and uncluttered and slowing down to read pattern directions carefully so, I don’t need to redo.
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is adapting/adjusting the pullover-type sweaters so they go over my dolls’ heads instead of opening down the back. I like the ones that have a partial opening down the back. I realize that the pattern designers are designing for children to play with the doll sweaters, but I want mine more realistic, so I adapt.

TIME! There are never enough hours in the day to do the volume of sewing, knitting etc that I want to do.

My biggest sewing, knitting challenge seems to be a lack of time!
My biggest challenge has always been zippers.
My biggest challenge is the corners on my binding on my quilts!
