My biggest craft challenge is TIME to do all of them!!!
My biggest sewing challenge, with doll clothes, is having the doll clothes come out with the same look and quality as regular garments. Working in the small sizes is harder.
My biggest challenge, whether it be sewing, knitting or crocheting is finding enough time to fit it in to my schedule!
My biggest challenge in sewing is to not get the material caught up in the machine. I want to do things quickly and do not bother to hold the thread or change needles. What happens of course is the material gets caught. Now I have just doubled my work.

My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is to keep on enjoying the talents I have been given as I am approaching retirement.
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is saying no to other projects that keep me from doing the things I love. Friends and family ask me to “fix or sew a seam or hem” or can you help me by sewing this. I don’t refuse, but it drives me crazy that there is not a “home” course in middle or high schools that teach basic skills including sewing a hem or a button, and fixing a seam!
My biggest sewing, Knitting, Crocheting, etc. would be that I still need to learn how do all of the above. I have knitted in the past but would definitely have to get back in practice and I have only crocheted once and never finished bc I took a break and forgot the simple pattern I was learning and my friend that was teaching me moved way.
“My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is to learn how to knit."
My biggest crochet challenge is sizing.

My biggest sewing challenge at the moment is piping. I’m working on a project with piping and it is totally new to me. Lots of patience and restitching. Hopefully I will master by the end and next time around I will be a pro!
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is finding the time.
My biggest knitting and crochet challenge is speed. I sew much slower than when I was young. I also seem to make stupid mistakes. Maybe I need a refresher course.
My biggest sewing challenge is I absolutely love sewing but my mom passed away several years ago and she isn’t around to teach me what she knows, so when I run into a problem I have no one to talk to or help me.
“My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is Learning to read patterns. I can crotchet and recently taught myself to knit. I can look at a crotchet item and “see how to make it. Unfortunately, many sites do not have great pictures and I have to try and figure out the lingo for patterns and it’s more frustrating than a joy.
My biggest challenge without a doubt is finishing what I have started, especially if I run into a “glitch” that I can’t solve right away
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is sewing when my hands don’t hurt. I start and have to stop because of the pain.
“My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is learning to knit, i am very accomplished at sewing, crocheting, hand embroidery, just about every craft I have tried, but I still am frustrated with knitting and Ive tried 4 times to learn and get better.
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is choosing between projects! So many so little time!
My biggest challenge is “me”. I could make time, but I can’t concentrate long enough on one thing to actually do it. I want to learn knitting, have the materials, got started, UFO. The same goes for sewing projects, I have too many UFOs. I need to finish some projects.
My biggest knitting and crochet challenge is understanding the directions for increase, decrease , repeat, etc. It’s like reading a foreign language for me with all the abbreviations. So confusing!

My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is finding time to sew!
My biggest challenge is knitting and learning how to be faster doing it.
Not enough time.
My biggest sewing, knitting or crochet challenge is not always having the time and materials available to make all of the wonderful patterns available on this site. I have four beautiful granddaughters, all of whom own at least two 18" dolls. Thankfully they are sisters and share their things. Their Memėre got them the dolls and Nanna, that’s me, knows how to knit, crochet, and sew. I would love to be able to make them at least one of everything you have to offer in the way of patterns. If only….sigh!
My biggest sewing challenge is not having enough time! Another challenge is that it’s hard to find buttons the right size that are not so thick.
Thank you Cinnamon for all you and your staff and designers do for all of us!
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is my time.
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is finding the time after working 5 days a week, cooking every evening for my dad, and finally cooking dinner at home. This leaves me too tired to concentrate on sewing, knitting, and crocheting.

My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is to not start a new project before finishing the current one.
My biggest sewing challenge is to only work on one project at a time! I do manage to finish orders on time (I have an Etsy shop), but when working on personal projects, I do many at the same time! I have a pile of UFO’s to do in January!
Commissioned to create a 18" doll pattern that would replicate a 1960s wedding dress that had VERY different sleeves. Then sew the dress for the grandma; nailed the sleeve on the first try!!
My biggest challenge is with Crocheting. My Grandma taught me to sew and knit but not to crochet. Now with my tremors there is not a way to learn to crochet or even to knit. But I can still sew and I am grateful for that.
My biggest challenge is to get off the computer and sew.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding time. There’s never enough time to sew as much as I want. And I love making gifts too. I would sew all the time if I could.
My biggest crochet challenge is getting stuck and not knowing where the stitches are. I need a personal de-tangler, haha!
“My biggest sewing challenge is learning all the different stitches and when to use them. I’m an older beginner sewer and when I first learned how to sew, computerized home sewing machines were not around. With the new sewing machines and the different presser feet, I’m having a easier time to learn how to sew.
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crocheting challenge is starting a project that is too big, that’s why I love making things for dolls because they are small enough I can usually finish it. Also, I hate doing the finishing work, such as, sewing on snaps, buttons, adding trims, etc.
my biggest sewing challenge is finding where I put stuff – guess I need to organize
My biggest sewing challenge is getting a separating zipper is coats or sweaters even at top and bottom.
My biggest sewing challenge is threading the needle. It takes me a lot of time. Needle threaders are lifesavers!
My biggest sewing challenge is zippers! I avoid them like the plague!
my biggest sewing challenge is focusing on one project. Since I “sew small” i always seem to have at least a dozen works in progress on my cutting table .
Truly my biggest sewing/knitting challenge is time. And any of us who work outside the home or are caregivers have this problem. I did manage to get everything finished for Christmas, but by the skin of my teeth! Other than that- sometimes my big fingers make working with small patterns difficult. Just have to keep plugging away at that!
My biggest challegen is ready patterns
My biggest sewing challenge is discipline. I let too many other activities get in the way. My resolution for this coming year is to finish all my unfinished projects and pay more attention to my Etsy shop.
My biggest sewing challenges are reading pattern directions carefully so, I don’t need to redo and converting doll clothes patterns to the correct size to fit different size dolls.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding time to sew and then finishing projects.
My biggest knitting challenge is picking up stitches.
My biggest challenge is finding a quality piece of knit fabric that is a good weight to work with and has a demure enough print to look good on a doll. Lots of great patterns for knit fabrics but a very limited selection. I like to shop for fabrics at the store and not online, I’m a touch, see and feel shopper of fabric. Happy New Year 🎊
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is converting doll clothes patterns to the correct size to fit different size dolls.
I didn’t start sewing until I was in my late 60’s and I only sew for my dolls. Sewing “small” is very challenging and I often have a hard time understanding how pieces go together. Patterns with detailed instructions and lots of photos are the best!
