Are they modern girls, is so which style do they prefer (boho, rocker, sporty, etc)? We'd love to know! To enter today's giveaway - simply respond to this post and complete this sentence:

My favorite era for clothing is the 1950s, with dresses, rompers and cute PJs. A pattern I’d really like to see and would buy is what Princess Charlotte wears, a short full dress with smocking across the chest, short puffy sleeves, a Peter Pan collar and a sash from the sides tied in a bow in back.
I loved the clothes of the early 19th century from Elizabethan through to the flapper period, but I also love the 50’s which was when I was born. Clothes in those times were just so beautiful and enhanced women’s bodies.

Favourite era is the 1950,s with the pleated skirts with bodice on top and twinsets togo overtop.a easy pattern for both would be great knitting and sewing combined in one.
I really love the classic clothing of the fifties and early sixties. They were well made and never go out of style.
Love steampunk! Any pattern that is steampunk appropriate (Victorian?) that isnot in your catalog already.

Do not really have a favorite era, love all the styles and attire. . . . Each era will bring it own uniqueness to light and fun. I enjoy making clothes for all the eras and my granddaughter loves the modern style but still like to be Ava to be really girly and princessy (if that a word lol)

My favorite era is the English invasion of the mid sixties. There was Twiggy and Jean Shrimpton in their short skirts and color blocked dresses with white boots. I’d like to see a “school girl” dress with a white collar and drop-waist circle skirt paired with white knee-hi boots.

My favorite era of clothing is 50’s. That fashion was classy, modest and stylish. I was young but it has really stuck in my mind in that way. I would love to see a pattern for full skirts, button up tops and bobby socks.
So many favorites! I love the 30s,40s, all the old Hollywood movies and photos of my grandma’s outfits. A woman’s world war 2 uniform would be cool as well.

Oh there is something I love about them all! I enjoy researching and learning about each era of fashion, and have dolls I specifically dress for each era from the late 1800’s to present. I also like to have many body types from baby dolls, child dolls, teen dolls, to high fashion curvy dolls.

My favorite eras are American Colonial and British Regency eras, but I’d love to see some more early 1900s patterns based on adult clothing from those eras, especially the 1920s and 1930s. Flappers and the Bright Young Things had tons of style that would look lovely on our dolls!
My favorite era is mid 40s-70s. I’d like to sew some clothes for my granddaughter from when I was born in the 40s through the years when her beloved Aunt Lissa was young. Would love to have Nanea so she could play with my granddaughter’s Mary Ellen!

We have quite a few dolls, and several different eras set up in our doll room. My DH and DD laugh when I have separated the room into the “historic” side and the “modern” side. I think my favorite era has to be Felicity and the colonial Williamsburg style dresses. I love the formal look of that era. I also really like the era of Cecil and Marie Grace from Victorian New Orleans.

My favorite era of clothing and fashion is the 1930s. I think people did really innovative things with fashion trying to lift their spirits during the Great Depression (plus Kit is my favorite American Girl doll :). I’d love to see a pattern unique to that period. Something like the caped Mainbocher suit in the image at https://retrowaste-jockpost.netdna-ssl.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/1935-Mainbocher-Marsha-Hunt.jpg would be AWESOME!

While various designs from many different eras catch my attention, I’m more inclined towards what is currently trendy. I am amazed at the wide range of eras and clothing types offered through Pixie Faire. What I would like to see are more patterns for creative designs and techniques to add to the clothing such as appliques, embroidery, smocking, quilting, creative uses for various trims, etc. After all, it’s the little details that turn something ordinary into something extraordinary.
My favorite for clothing would be the mid 1800’s. I love the crinolines and hoop skirts. There are so many styles through the centuries that look refined and feminine.

I’d love to see a pattern for a wrap dress/skirt (which is actually retro but could be modern depending on fabric/embellishments).
