Many of you have large collections of dolls, or sew for someone who does! We'd love to know more about the time period or era your dolls live in. Are they historical, if so from which era? Are they modern girls, is so which style do they prefer (boho, rocker, sporty, etc)? We'd love to know! To enter today's giveaway - simply respond to this post and complete this sentence:

My favorite era is early 1900’s. I’d live to see simple dress and blouse patterns.
I sew for my granddaughter’s doll and mostly sew clothes of the 2000’s. But it would be fun to have one from a different era. I would like to see a pattern for a doll that a beginning seamstress, aged 8, could sew.

I love the 40s and the 50s. I started my collection with Maryellen because she was from that era. I have adapted my other dolls for that time period also. I also build a 50s diner and used your pattern for the roller skating car hop.
New to American Girl dolls… my daughter loves her babies, and is the first toys I have seen her take extra special care of. This year she asked me to make outfits for them for thier very own stocking from santa…
I make doll clothes for my precious granddaughter, Evie, but I have no model to try them on, here in Maine, before I send them off to Tennessee. Would LOVE to have a doll model so I can customize some of the dresses. So happy I found you guys!

As a former historical clothing instructor, I don’t know that I can list a favorite era, but right now I am in the process of creating dolls of my parents as a kind of family history present to myself. They were about 10 years old in the mid 1930s. I would love to see a “Jughead” cap like the one from the comic strip, complete with jewels. My dad had one.
I like the fifties/sixties style era clothing as that was when I was born and went to grade school. I would like to see a pattern that is reversible.
Oh gosh, I love so many eras. Probably the Roaring 20’s is my favorite!

My favorite eras of clothing and fashion are the 1850s-1870s and the 1820s to the present, so almost everything over the past 170 years:) I’d love to see more patterns for the 1960s so that I can make Melody a wardrobe. That said, I love everyday clothing for children of all time periods!

I would love to win this bundle. my granddaughters are lucky enough to own AG dolls already so I would donate this one to a young girl not so lucky. I would use the patterns to make more outfits. this grandma loves to sew for them.

I love the 50’s fashions for the girls but would love some 20’s fashions for the boys. I read in another message how today’s fashions are what little girls want now… and I agree with her also. These are children and love the look that children wear.

I have always liked dresses that looks feminine and did not cling to the body. For me it is not the shape on show but the hint of whats beneath. Having said that the roaring twenties offers both with just that bit of razz to help jazz things up. A whole wardrobe could be made of these styles and not hint of being from the same time period. The head gear would give it away so I would stay clear of this, but otherwise anything goes!
Not sure which era it would be, but would love to see horseback riding clothing for the American Girl dolls!

I love your patterns. I make clothes for my niece’s doll. I even made the bed and bedding for Jordan(the doll). I think I enjoy the doll more than my niece. I will continue to use/order patterns from Pixie Faire.

I have 2 eras i love in fashion. The 1890’s had long elegant lines in men’s bespoke tailoring and women had a sweeping elegance. The MOD or Canby street period of the late 1960’s and early 1970’s Were what I wore in college. I’d love to see a dress from either for slim 18 to 20" dolls.

I make doll cloths for my 2 Granddaughters and for little girls in the Foster System. I purchase used AGDolls and gift the doll and 3 outfits with each doll. Why can’t a little girl that has lost her family get a beautiful doll she can dress with cute cloths.
I love so many different eras. Current is probably my grandkids favorite, followed by “Little house on the Prairie” look. But we really enjoy costumes and careers too

I like 1800’s and the 30’s were a romantic period. I really enjoy making gowns and it would be fun to have a pattern for a gown with a feather boa.

I sew mostly current styles because that is what me granddaughters like. My favorites however are anything with ruffles and lace because it reminds me of when I was sewing for my own little girls. I would like to see a formal wedding dress complete with veil, hoop skirt, dress and train.

My favorite era to sew doll clothes is the Civil War Era. Plus, I also enjoy sewing dresses from the Elizabethan era, something Ann Boleyn would have worn. Have always been interested in both those times, since I was a little girl.
I love school fashions from the 1940s – my mother sewed our school clothes when my sister and I started school in the late 40s and I have printed out pictures to try and duplicate them. I’d love to see a PixieFaire pattern of the taffeta party dresses which had three tiers of ruffles and short puffed sleeves that she made for us at Christmas in 1949 – when there were only 4 of us girls.

My favorite era is late 1940’s thru the 1960’s. The nostalgia of the time period does it for me. appropriate colors and fabrics are harder to find but that’s part of the fun. Thrift stores are often treasure chests of fabrics.
