The best thing about American Girl sewing is that the project size is not so small as to be miserable. I tried sewing for Barbie – ugh – ended up hand stitching everything. Wellies are fun but still a little small to work with. I sew as a way to connect with my Granddaughters. Four year old Penny took me to her room to see her birthday doll Alaina of Avalor.
