My favorite era is Victorian; my first AG doll was Samantha. As far as types of patterns, I’m pretty open to any era…I tend to be more inspired by the design of particular pattern rather than a particular era.
My favourite eRA is …well all of them. They were all distinctive. But I have not seen the ’80’s and 90’s represented yet. Come on you designers. ..who wouldn’t like the 80’s and those sleeves and big shoulders! Hahaha
My favorite clothing era is around the 1920s when my mother was AG age. I have a photo of her as a seven or eight year old in a dress like Rebecca would wear. These take a lot more fabric than what AG is cranking out right now so patterns with the drop waist are very nice to have. They are also less difficult to sew since they are not so tight fitting and sleeves are larger with more fabric in them. I did buy a dress like hers from an Ebay sewer and Rebecca is a good likeness for my mother as a child also though Mom looks more like another brand of 18 inch doll.
My favorite era of clothing and fashion is the recency period…I already have a pattern for that style. I’d love to see a pattern for traditional polish costume.

I live in a rural community so many of my outfits are farming and Western look. I seem to find every pattern I need on your website but perhaps jeans with a front placket rather than the elastic waist although I make lots of the elastic waist and the kids seem to like it fine. I also love the Nativity set pattern, so perhaps other group patterns like that so the dolls can act out a pageant or play.

My favorite era of clothing and fashion is the 40’s and 50’s. I’d love to see a pattern for Nanea’s swimsuit or holoka dress, or MaryEllen’s swimsuit or strawberry outfit.
My favorite era of clothing for dolls is now because so many of the modern designs encompass fashion from the past
I gave my granddaughter her first American Girl Doll this Christmas and spent all of November sewing clothes for her doll. Because doll clothes were all I talked about, I received an American Girl Doll, too. I love these outfits and this doll!
I love the different eras, but my daughter is young and wants the more modern looks.
