My favorite era is the time the Titanic went down. I would love to have a pattern like Rose wore for a MA Cissy doll.

My favorite era for clothing is the glamorous classic movie style of the 1940’s.
Love all your patterns.
My favorite era of clothing and fashion is the 1920s with the full body but flat, youthful chest. It’s tough to get that look right in a doll that’s proportionally shorter. I’d love to see a pattern for a tango or Monte Carlo style dress or a long straight dropped waist dress of gauzy cotton or light sheer layers for a garden party in New Orleans or summer on Long Island!
My favourite era for clothing and fashion is the 1950’s. I’d love to see a pattern for Little House on the Prairie play
I love modern day clothing for dolls that matches the styles worn by my granddaughters. I love your patterns and am always watching to see what is new.

“My favorite era of clothing and fashion is current fashion. I’d love to see a pattern for a cheerleader outfit.
I would like clothes patterns from the 1950’s when I was in high school. Poodle skirts were all the rage, and cardigan sweater sets were a must. Bobby sox and saddle shoes completed the outfit.
My favorite era of clothing and fashion is the 1890’s and I’d love to see a pattern for dramatic gowns of the era.
My favorite era of clothing and fashion is the 1920s.
I really like the 19th century clothing. I love crinoline dresses and petticoats.
I love the 20’s to the 50’s. Really like making any era of clothing. The patterns available have such great variety.

My favorite era of clothing and fashion is the Swinging 60’s.
My favorite era of clothing is today’s fashions. My granddaughters like to dress their dolls in clothes they’d wear and they also like matching outfits with their dolls. But I’m a beginner at sewing, so I would love to see more beginner type patterns, or even more ways to repurpose clothing into doll clothes!
“My favorite era of clothing and fashion is…modern dance, I’d love to see a pattern for “dance apparel”, ie more leggings and cut off shirts, ballerina type clothing. All my grand daughters are in a dance class.
My favorite era of clothing is the Roaring 20’s. I would like to se a pattern for a flapper style dress
I have mostly sewn current clothing styles for my grand daughter – all genre. She is out growing dolls and my little grand daughter still prefers naked babys! LOL I would like to make some of the Early American Era patterns just for the challenge and because of my connection with historical societies.
I love outfits from any era. I would like to see some AG doll patterns for clothing from the 1970’s, and maybe some medieval garments, too. And not just garments, but shoes and hats as well.
I believe my favorite is the 1940’s. I was born in the 40,s and in some ways it was a more romantic era even with WWII going on.

My favorite era of clothing and fashion is a toss up between the 1920s, 1940s, 1950s, 1960s, and 1990s. I love flapper inspired clothing, like in the newest film rendition of the Great Gatsby. I’d love to see patterns inspired by the fashion from Fantastic Beasts since it is set in the 20s. I love 1949s fashion mainly because of Agent Carter. It would be really cool to see more grunge patterns. And fashion inspired by the Spice Girls and the boybands of the decade.
My favorite era is 1950’s dresses & skirts
I like sewing modern day clothing. I would feel really priveledged to be chosen the winner.
My favorite period would have to be early 1950s through early 1960s when people and children dressed up and always looked so stylish. Women always dressed up even to go to the market and wore hats. I can remember my sisters and me being clothed in pretty Polly Flinders dresses with crinolines and girls were required to wear dresses in school (which did not change until my sophomore year of high school). It seems to have been a time when life was good.
I enjoy historical clothing in general and have been looking for more styles from the 1880’s, something appropriate for a banker or merchant’s daughter, for a project at our local museum. I do like the 40’s as well and have been outfitting an 18" doll for my grandmother, who served as an Army nurse in WWII. It’s a great way to get her to talk about her young adult life as her current memories are not so sharp. Thank you for the fun contests and Merry Christmas!
My favorite era is the 1970’s era. I would love to see more flared pants and fun tops from that era. Thanks!
My favorite era of clothing and fashion is all of them. I love the evolution of clothing from one era to the next. I’d love to see a pattern for a nightgown and peignoir.
I once thought I didn’t really have a time period for dressing my dolls, but recently I acquired a Skipper doll and a Ginger (Ginny) doll. When I looked for patterns for them, everything seemed so “not today”. I bought the patterns anyway and tweek them where I need to so they are more “today”. Full-skirted dresses are less full-skirted and pants morph into some type of jeans or more casual pants. Since I barely have time for sewing let alone designing from scratch, I would love to see patterns for dolls like Ginger and Skipper..
My favorite era of clothing and fashion is the ’70’s. I’d love to see a pattern for bell bottom jeans and a peasant blouse.

I sew mostly for my 14" Betsy McCall and 10" Patsy dolls. I can sew like crazy but I’m rubbish at drafting patterns so I’m always delighted to find any historical patterns for the smaller dolls.

(Plus, my Granny always looked so sharp in her pictures from the 40’s!) The gents didn’t look half bad either! :) (But then again, my grandpa was ALWAYS handsome, regardless of decade. :) )

My favorite clothing period is the Edwardian Era through the early 1920’s-the years whose fashions were so beautifully recreated in the television series “Downton Abbey”. I love the elegant dresses/gowns of this period and would like to see more patterns which incorporate the heirloom sewing and embroidery (hand or machine) techniques utilized in this period. How about more tea dresses, day dresses, or even a wedding gown inspired by the adult fashions of the era?
