Are they modern girls, is so which style do they prefer (boho, rocker, sporty, etc)? We'd love to know! To enter today's giveaway - simply respond to this post and complete this sentence:

Omg my favorite Era would be the Disco Era, 1970’s baby!! Lol does this show how old I am :) I’d love to see a halter top dress and the awesome John Travolta butter fly collar pattern suite!! Tho I might not win maybe someone will see this and get inspired to make this pattern!! Hint hint!!

I enjoy sewing all these cute outfits for my Grandaughters doll it is truly a labour of love choosing fabrics and making things for them. My grandaughter is taking an interest in sewing herself now which is so exciting for me.
I love everything victorian. I love lace, ruffles, peplums, velvet, floral, and all those elegant royal looking clothes. I just received Rebecca for christmas, from my husband. My favourite era of clothing was the 60’s where all was so casual and low key. Jeans suddenly became acceptable and women could suddenly dress with more comfort. No bras, pantyhose etc.
My favorite era would be the 50’s. Love the little girl dresses with their full skirts and fitted bodices. I would love to see a pattern for a dress and pinafore from the 1950’s.

I love historical attire from around the world. My granddaughter is of Italian, Polish, Scottish, and Russian descent, so I would love to have patterns of clothing styles of long ago from all 4 countries. I could then make her doll clothing that her ancestors wore to celebrate her heritage.
My favorite era of clothing and fashion is a tossup between the medieval styles clothing (the brave knights, the gorgeous dresses & outfits of both genders of nobility and even the simpler outfits the peasants wore)… or those styles worn by the various North American Indian tribess from 16-1700’s.

My favorite era of clothing and fashion was the 60’s. I grew up in that era and so many things went on, that changed our lives today. The fashion world was at the top of their game. Twiggy was big. Mini skirts, go go boots, halter tops and dresses, peasant blouses. Bell bottom pants. Hip huggers, waffle stompers, macrame items, groovy floppy hats, wide belts, fringe, Afro hairstyles, long hair on both guys and gals, Elephant pants. Nehru shirts and jackets. The hippie movement, peace protests, flower power, cruising the Ave etc The Vietnam war. The space program was going big. The music transformed so many things. Greatest era for music. The Beatles, the Monkees, Janis Joplin. Roller skating was big with wooden floors and a real organ. I’d love to see a pattern for a Nehru jacket and go go boots. One of my favorite outfits was bibbed shorts in brown and small yellow polka dots, a yellow lighting bolt on the bib and yellow shirt. I also see the new American doll released today is a Latino Astronaut. Awesome. Go 60’s.
My granddaughter for whom I sew is a 2000s girl. Me, I enjoy the. 60s when I was a girl——knife pleated skirt school uniforms, pedal pushers and blouses, before t shirts became the thing. I cant think of a pattern that I have not seen on Pixiefaire, so I will say maybe just an accessories collection, as in hats n gloves together or purses n shoes together

I love the clothes of the mid- to late-1800’s when my grandma was a child. When I make clothes from this era for an 18" doll, I look at the finished product and see Grandma as a young girl; so proud. I would like a pattern with full, long sleeves, full bodice, sashes tied behind the back, and pockets on a long, full skirt with a wide ruffle around the feet. I have a picture of Grandma wearing ‘this dress’, holding her Bible, and it so depicts the era. She was probably headed out walking to church.

My favorite era of clothing at the moment is the 1850"s and Civil War Era. The fashions are feminine and beautiful, and I love to use antique buttons and trim to make them look really authentic. I would love to have see “Little House” pattern for Carrie offered in an 18" size. It’s lovelyl, and I have a photo of my grandmother in an almost identical style.

My favourite fashion era is the 1800s. I’ve always loved the big dresses, and how much detail some of them have. I would love to see more patterns for detailed Victorian era dresses, specifically the larger dresses with several layers and ruffles. At the moment my doll collection doesn’t have a lot of Victorian pieces, so it would be nice to find more patterns I can create them with.
