I have made the free halter top so many times. It is easy and quick. However my favorite is the 1920’s Apron Dress. Not quite as easy but it is beautiful when finished. Her 1950’s dress is also stunning when finished.

I love your patterns. My first name is Donna as well and Zi started sewing at the age of 8 when my mother starting teaching me. I have always loved dolls. Especially the American Girl dolls and Barbie. I always wanted to make them something to wear. I love that you chose the names of your daughters as the name of your designs. I think we have more in common that I thought after reading about you. 😘💋❤️

I have made the Hawaiian Sundress for both the 18 and 14.5" dolls. I used Batik fabric. They sewed up beautifully and turned out so pretty. They were given to two little girls who were going on a family vacation to Hawaii and the dolls were joining them.

My favorite is the 1970’s Holiday Maxi Outfit because it looks so much like a formal that I had when I was in Jr. High in the mid seventies. My dress had a blue and green plaid taffeta skirt and the top was just like the one in the pattern.

There are some lovely patterns; how to choose! I think my favourite has to be the tartan long skirt and lace blouse. It will make a lovely outfit for Violet for Christmas. Violet arrived for my birthday last month. I was having so much fun making clothes for Rosie who arrived from Santa for my 6 year old grandaughter, that my daughter thought I needed a doll of my own. I think she is the finest doll i have received in 50 years! Good thing you are never too old to play with dolls

My mom was born in 1922 and I can picture her going to school in the 19302 Ruffled Play Dress. Also love the Peppermint Snow outfit, and while I love the idea of turning it into a strawberry, I can also see it in a raspberry color with raspberry colored beads, like the Prince song.

I like a few of them but I think 1912 apron would have to be my favorite. I can use that for a couple different American Girl dolls that I want to get. I just got back into AG dolls; I was able to get over the trauma of my favorite one being stolen from me over a decade ago and now I can’t wait to get her back. I even started to crochet items for them and plan to knit and sew a bunch of stuff as well and that apron is appropriate for Kirsten.
