Hi everyone,
On Friday (March 30th) we'll have one of the following four doll clothes patterns available for free. This week we're featuring the very talented work from Renee Adams of Dollhouse Designs!
More About Renee and Dollhouse Designs, (in her own words): "Inspiration is everywhere! I am a great fan of historical dramas as well as history and fashion itself, and so much of what I see becomes food for creative thought. I taught myself to sew soon after my daughter was born, as I wanted to dress her up in slightly old fashioned finery. It wasn't long before I was adapting patterns. Before long, her dolls needed fancy things! Her cache of Dress Up costumes was a favorite of her friends, as well. As the years went by there was less call for mom-made things and the dolls were set aside. One day I was musing how much I missed sewing for dolls and little girl whimsies. I allowed my inner child to have rein and ordered a doll just for myself & a new sewing machine. After selling my outfits online, I began to receive frequent requests for my patterns. So, another road opened before me. I was able to harness my naturally artistic nature and pastimes in art, history, writing, photography, photoshop, and fashion into a new source of fun. I simply adore designing, and find it hard Not to be mentally working out new fashions in my head all the time. The thing that really makes my heart sing is when I receive notes from moms & grandmas telling me how thrilled their little ones are with their new doll outfits, made by loving hands. The magic of childhood stays alive in all of us, it's just a matter of finding it. Fortunately, the doll collecting/crafting community is such a full and Pleasant place to find like-minded friends! Pixie Faire is a nest of creativity that continues to evolve and finds new ways to inspire. I am very excited to be a part of it."

Winter Snow Queen Gown For 18 Inch Dolls: Is your doll an Elsa fan? Now you can transform her into her favorite frozen snow queen with this gorgeous dress pattern! This PDF pattern will help you create a beautiful long dress and bodice with an attached train. The long sleeves in this dress will end in elegant points over your doll's hands. The 5-gored skirt can be made with or without the side slit. The skirt of the dress is extra long in the back, forming a beautiful long train behind her. The dress opens in the back and the bodice opens on one side. Make the top with sheer mesh knit or use an optional woven version. You can make this dress as grand or as simple as you like!
Nordic Winter Cape & Cap For 18 Inch Dolls: The Nordic Winter Cape and Cap PDF pattern is the second pattern in the princess inspired series. The traditional Nordic folk dress of Norway was the influence for this Princess-inspired Outerwear. This Cape and Cap pattern coordinates perfectly with the upcoming companion Winter Bunad Outfit pattern. It includes pattern pieces to make attractive scallops, shaped trim, and design templates for use with hand-embroidery, fabric paint, or appliqué –whatever your vision. This can be made as simply or as finely detailed as you wish!
This charming capelet (short cape attached at shoulders) has shaped side pieces. The main section of full cape sweeps long and full. The cap is adorable and fits just right. All pieces are lined. The cape uses a clasp or ties to close. The cap uses elastic or ties. Both pieces are tailored perfectly for American Girl dolls and similar 18" dolls.

Nordic Cape and Cap are my pick. They would look great in wool!
Want them all!!! Oh ok…ok….only one…mhhh Winter Snow Queen Gown is my favorite n_n
I already have sewn the McCalls Elsa dress for my granddaughters dolls to match their dresses I made them 2 years ago. It is much nicer than the one shown here. Especially because of the fabric used to make them. McCalls is the official pattern of Frozen. So will be happy with what ever one wins but I would have gone with the nightgown
Snow queen.
Thank you so much for your genrosity, Renee!

The Nordic Cape is my favorite, but will be absolutely delighted with any of the choices.

I lije them all. But I think the pretty night gown is the ome that my GGD’s would like.
Thank you for offering them.
Snow queen or cape and cap. All are lovely but the decision comes down to these two.
Snow Queen won in the coin toss.
Thanks, Renee, for sharing your talents. I’ve looked at your patterns and they are all lovely.
I am voting for the winter nightgown this time. It is so versatile with many options.
All are beautiful. All are winners. Tomorrow will be a fun day to see the results. Thank you.
I voted for the Nordic Cape and Cap. The pattern is so timeless, and with a few changes, can be just as effective in Downton Abbey as on the Scottish Highlands or in the Irish Hill Country. It also mirrors the Acadian Heritage of Eastern Canada, so I find it a most versatile offering, capturing the past and present offering up-to-the minute chic styling for today..
Renee, thank you so much for the free pattern! All of the patterns are so lovely, but I vote for the Winter Snow Queen Gown.
Wow! How can you choose? they are all lovely. Thank you so much,Renee!
Wow! All beautiful! I debated among the three clothing patterns — wish I could vote for all three! Thank you very much, Renee!

Thank you, Renee! I’m voting for the horse blanket as my granddaughter received a 20" horse for Christmas.
So many nice patterns to choose from! I chose the cape, but this week I would have liked to be able to choose all three clothing patterns.
Thank you so much Renee for giving us the opportunity to have one of your creations on Friday. They are all lovely…. but I am most drawn to the Snow Queen gown. It is so beautiful.

je vote pour Winter Snow Queen Gown For 18 Inch très jolie modèle
I voted for the horse blanket but it was a difficult decision between that and the cape and cap… i have never made anything for my daughter’s horsey before and never really thought about it either… I love it… i hope it wins ❤❤❤ thank you so much xxx
Thanks Renee’ for sharing your talent!! I vote for the Winter Snow Queen pattern! All are lovely!
Thankyou Renee for the opportunity to receive one of your beautiful patterns free. It was a hard choice for me, as I.like all of the things you fesign. The winter nifhtgown and winter snow queen.gown are both stunning, and my four grand daughters and my cousins grand daughters would love either choice. I will be ordering all of the pixie faire patterns eventually anyways. As I sew constantly for all my familys girls and boys. But the opportunity to get a free pattern each week, really helps me so much. So I sincerely thank you!
Thank you very much for sharing your patterns. I liked the queen gown best but the cape and nightgown were equally lovely.
This time The Winter Queen gets my vote!
The Nordic cape and cap are my choice.
Very nice!
I love the cape and cap pattern. Its the one I relly want out of these.
I once made a “Snow Princes Dress” for my granddaughter’s doll but it didn’t have nearly the detail and style of your pattern! I also find the cape pattern really interesting, so hard to chose! Thanks for offering us the opportunity to receive one of these for free.
Wow! A free pattern by Renee Adams? I have lots of your patterns. They are some of my very favorites! I really appreciate the chance to have another great design to work with. Many thanks and God bless!
They’re all so nice it as hard to choose but my granddaughter voted for the cape. Thanks so much
Thanks, Renee! You can never have too many ‘royal’ dresses! ;-)

Renee, such a beautiful selection of patterns, thank you so much for the opportunity, but its very hard to choose. I think I will have to go with the horse blanket, but I will be happy with whatever pattern wins. Thank you Cinnamon for making this all possible.
I vote for the Winter Snow Queen Gown. So beautiful. Thank you….
Great choices, but the “Princess Winter Gown” is the one I’m voting for!
what wonderful choices this week.. I went with the nighty pattern.. has sew many options to create many designs.. hugs thank you…c
I think I would like the Nordic Cape and Cap or the night gown. I already have the Snow Queen Gown pattern and made it and my grand daughter just loves it. Don’t have a horse yet.
Thank you for all the great choices, you have lovely patterns.
Oh so cute! I love them all, but I’ve been itching to make a Snow Queen outfit for a while now… bounces happily and crosses fingers for that one to win :)
Renee, it was very hard to choose! They are all great patterns. I let my daughter decide, and she loves the cape and cap. Thanks so much for offering these great patterns and letting us have one! Thanks to Pixie Faire, for having such a great gift!
I voted for the Nordic cape. It’s so pretty. Thank you Renee and Pixie Faire.
A hard choice again this week as they are all so lovely. We have Norse in our background, but in this case, beauty won out over genes, so I have to vote for the Winter Snow Queen gown. Both are lovely and I can always purchase the Nordic Cape and Hat should they change their minds. Thanks for the wonderful choices, Renee, and to Cinnamon and team, for this week’s offerings.
Thank you so much for offering so many beautiful choices. I chose the Winter Snow Queen pattern because I have a granddaughter who would absolutely love to have Nana make this for her.
I love the neckline on the nightgown – so my vote went that way – but it was really hard to choose!
The Snow Queen Gown gets my vote, although the cape is lovely too. Thank you for being so generous to share your patterns with all of us!
As much as I love the winter snow queen gown, I voted for the pajama dress-the victorian frill that was the freebie a few weeks ago was just too old fashioned for my daughter’s 2 disney princess dolls
Wow, tough choice. Thank You
Thank you, Renee, for such beautiful patterns. I have a couple of little princess granddaughters who would swoon over the Snow Queen Gown so I’m voting for that pattern, but they’re all SO lovely.
I love the Snow Queen gown. I vote for it. Thank you Renee for the beautiful pattern.
All are great. Thank you
Jeanne
