I’m thankful for God, who has held us close during this year and the death of my precious nephew, who was murdered in the line of duty in May of this year. It’s been the most horrific thing we have ever lived through.

Hurricane Ian surely put North Port, FL, where I live, on the map! I am truly thankful that my husband and I, our family, close neighbors and our home survived. I am thankful we only have damage to our home that we can deal with. So many near us are not so lucky. I am truly thankful to spend this Thanksgiving with my loved ones. Covid and Ian have personally touched my family. I am thankful for our current health, our home and God’s blessings. May God continue to pour down his blessings on all. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I’m legally blind (have been since birth). As I get older, my eyesight has been getting worse and worse. However…

I’m thankful for God’s amazing faithfulness!! We were a drop off site for Operation Christmas Child for the first time this year and processed 3,232 shoeboxes for children around the world in one we l week! So thankful for this amazing ministry as well as Cinnamon’s Sew Powerful and others like it!

I am grateful to God for being a Registered Nurse and volunteering to work the holidays so that staff with young children can be with their family. I am grateful to be able to offer peace and comfort to my patients and their loved ones.
I’m thankful for this year’s batch of OCC shoeboxes are filled with gifts and out the door to Samaritan’s Purse, and there’s no school this week so I have a little time to get things done for our annual passion play (which now has a live nativity) AND to rest some before getting back to teaching after school Bible clubs.

I am Thankful my husband is alive. Last March he was in a horrible motorcycle accident. I wasn’t sure he’d make through the night. But after several surgeries and rehab he is doing better. 8 months and he still has a way to go. Sewing keeps me sane.

I started making doll clothes as a 8 or 9 year old and progressed to making my own clothes and quilts for charity.
