or fill in the blank "My biggest sewing challenge is______"
I so very much enjoy your patterns and web site. I have sewn since I was a small child. But I believe you are never too old to learn new techniques. And I am 69.
My biggest sewing challenge is trying to keep my cat from laying so close to my sewing machine that I’m not sewing his tail into what ever I’m making at the time.
My biggest challenge is deciding what to make first! I’ve got so many doll clothes cut out and ready to sew! What do I make first?
My biggest sewing challenge is waiting for the next perfect pattern from Pixie Faire.
My biggest sewing challenge is sewing with knits.
My biggest Sewing challenge is staying focused.
My biggest sewing challenge is knowing how to sew layers of tulle, such as in Dollhouse Designs “To The Ball” gown that looks like a Cinderella dress. I would LOVE to see a sew-a-long with this pattern!!
Finding enough time to sew
My biggest sewing challenge is to find time to sew. I love to sew but have trouble having enough time to sew.
My biggest challenge in sewing is the freight costs to get fabric from overseas.
My biggest sewing challenge is still how to store fabric scraps. There are lots of ways to use them, but finding what I want when I need them is just overwhelming at times. Luckily, we have a thrift shop that will recycle fabric scraps.
My biggest sewing challenge is picking just the right fabric to go with just the right pattern, using the stash I have on hand.
My biggest sewing challenge is choosing the right fabric.
What a fun assortment!
My biggest sewing challenge is finding the room to work.
My biggest sewing challenge is having a dedicated space in which to sew.
My biggest challenge is choosing my project and getting it started
My biggest sewing challenge is always deciding on what pattern & fabric you choose! Sewwwww many choices, so little time, lol. Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄
My biggest challenge is start projects and not finishing them
My biggest challenge is actually sitting down to sew
my biggest sewing challenge is gathering everything I need in one place and actually starting!
My biggest sewing challenge is getting motivated to begin
My biggest sewing challenge is t shirt knits, I watch all kinds of videos and they still don’t come out nice.
My biggest challenge is getting my gathers even!
My biggest sewing challenge is not having a dedicated sewing room and not being able to leave things out, so I don’t really sew too much unless I have a big chunk of time.
Getting my sewing machine and box out of my overfilled storage room
My biggest challenge is finding time to sew.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding enough time to make all I want to make!
My biggest seeing challenge is my 50 year old seeing machine.
My biggest seeing challenge is my 50 year old seeing machine.
My biggest sewing challenge is beginning a project
My biggest challenge is finding fabric and findings in the right scale. One of the disadvantages if living in a small town.
Getting starting on the sewing is my biggest challenge. I love the planning, designing and searching for resources for my project, but when I come to the point to start to cut and sew I get stuck. I think I get afraid that the end result won’t be as good as what I had dreamed and planned!
My biggest sewing challenge is branching out and being brave enough to try fabrics other than quilting cotton.
My biggest challenge is putting it all together. I have a hard time with creative vision. That, and finding time.
My biggest challenge is finishing items that I start.
Sounds like fun, but oh, procrastination!
My biggest challenge is finding time. Also using my accumation of wonderful fabrics!
What a great way to start a new year … all of your wonderful ideas
My biggest sewing challenge is that initial hurdle of starting something new that I think I may mess up because the pattern is in my head.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding the right size fabric and trims for what I am sewing. I love historical and mini prints and sometimes it is hard to fins accurate fabric and accessories. Merry Christmas

My biggest challenge is managing my time so I can do all the things I want to do. Always seem to have more ideas than I have time!
My biggest sewing challenge is finding enough time to complete all my doll sized projects!
Having / making the time to sew
My biggest sewing challenge is coordinating fabrics for an outfit when sewing from my stash fabrics.I need to buy extra yardage that coordinates when I sew, so that my stash will coordinate better.
My biggest sewing challenge is not getting distracted planning new projects when I’m trying get my sewing room cleaned up so I can actually sew!
My biggest sewing challenge is actually completing the projects I start. I start many projects, but I don’t enjoy doing the finishing details, so I have many partially-completed projects around the house.
My biggest challenge is finding tiny doll size hardware and trims.
My biggest challenge is pattern alterations. I sew for Build-a-Bears and Barbie dolls as well as Amazing Grils Zoe and often alter Pixie Faire patterns to fit those dolls. B-a-Bs and Barbies have very different proportions than 18" dolls, so my alteration requirements are more complex than just resizing patterns by a uniform percentage or altering the length. I use Pixie Faire patterns for Barbie because they include clothing types that are almost impossible to find for Barbie elsewhere, such as historical clothing and traditional ethnic clothing (ex: Korean hanbok or Mexican mariachi suits). I use these patterns to get the general type of pattern pieces I need, then either resize them to fit my dolls and bears or to look for similar pieces in my existing pattern collection.
My biggest sewing challenge at this time is inspiration. I need some new ideas!!
My biggest sewing challenge is finding time to sew with everything that is going on right now.
Finding time to sew with so many family obligations

My biggest sewing challenge is knits. Enough said. Ugh.
My biggest challenge is working with such small openings. Spent my life making human clothes
My biggest challenge is setting zippers.
My biggest sewing challenge sounds crazy——— I will make anything for the dolls—— but my adult daughter keeps asking me for a tube top and I just won’t!! I keep telling her to make it herself. But I will make them for the dolls. They never complain!

My biggest sewing challenge is the fact that I can design much faster than I sew (of course) so as I am finishing one outfit, I find myself three outfits ahead of myself in design, etc. I am sure it is a common problem, but i actually sew fairly quickly so it is perplexing that my wild creative ADHD brain is SOOO far ahead of what I can see taking shape. I LOVE TO SEW!!!!
