or fill in the blank "My biggest sewing challenge is______"
My biggest sewing challenge is cutting out too many things at once that I never get around to actually sewing. I tend to pick out the faster-to-finish items and save the more complex ones for later (which are more satisfying!) and I tend to not get them done.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding time to do it!
My biggest sewing challenge is putting in zippers.
My biggest sewing challenge is working with chiffon….
I stress too much about what fabric I am going to use, what trims etc It takes me longer to get started than to actually finish a project!
Sewing with slippery fabrics
My biggest sewing challenge is deciding what fabric and pattern to pick before I start sewing. I get bogged down by all my choices.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding fabric appropriate for my projects. I’m currently immersed in all things Barbie, and I need small prints and lightweight cloth. It’s almost impossible to shop for the right fabric on the internet
My biggest sewing problem is time and silk fabric.
The video calendar for the year looks so interesting. I can’t wait.
My biggest sewing challenge is spending too much time over thinking, and not jumping in and getting started!
My biggest sewing challenge would be making something that manages to come out looking like what I had in mind. Being a bit of a perfectionist, I tend to struggle being content with anything I make unless it’s up to my expectations.
My biggest challenge is deciding what fabric and trims to use on each pattern.
My biggest challenge is finding time to get started.
sewing a straight kine
My biggest sewing challenge is picking fabric out of my stash and choosing the pattern
My biggest sewing challenge is still starting too many projects and not finishing them!
My biggest challenge is keeping patterns and supplies organized and finding what I want to use when I want it.
My biggest sewing challenge is confidence in my choices regarding creativity.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding the time and getting started!
My biggest challenge is finding what I want in order to get any given project done. I have collected fabric, trims, incidentals, for decades now. I’ve got oodles of materials – it’s just locating them when I want to use them that is a problem!
Getting my serger out of the box
My biggest challenge when sewing is keeping myself organized in my sewing room.
My biggest challenge right now is getting my sewing room in an orderly state so that I can sew and find what I need to be able to sew.
My biggest challenge is not enough time to sew, all the projects I want to make.
My biggest sewing challenge is my poor lighting.
My biggest sewing challenge is keeping motivation up for installing closures (velcro, zippers, etc.)!
My biggest sewing challenge is finding the time where I can sew without being distracted.
My biggest sewing challenge is threading the needle with mu 76-year-old eyes.
My biggest challenge is the new sewing machines!!! They (both the serger and regular machine) have a larger footprint from the pressure foot to sewing area. It is much more difficult to sew smaller things now. In fact I really question why the manufactures think the only thing we home sewers sew is quilts! Also, the small trims, laces, eyelets, and buttons are not as small, varied and cute as they were a few years ago, nor as easily found. The Pixie Paks are a great find, but the buttons are all cookie cutter look alikes.
My biggest sewing challenge is not having enough time in the day…and having my sewing space in my small living space…but sewing is my happy place so bring on the challenge!
My biggest challenge …I stepped out of sewing during homeschooling and adoption season of my life; now that I’m ready to jump back in, I’m really rusty. Things that were instinct and muscle memory are taking thought.
My biggest challenge is deciding what beautiful thing I can make and finishing it!
My biggest challenge is finishing my current project before starting the next one!
I would have to say my biggest challenge has come since becoming disabled. My sewing room and supplies are upstairs and I am unable to climb the stairs. Trying to make my husband understand what I want him to bring down for me can be complicated I only ask for supplies for things that I really feel I want to make.
My biggest challenge if making time to sew
My biggest sewing challenge is staying organized so I can find what I want, when I want it.
my biggest sewing challenge is finding the time i need to do all my sewing
My biggest challenge is staying focused, especially when things go south or aren’t working out as planned. I then start a new project and repeat the same cycle. :-(
My biggest sewing challenge is finding the time to sew.
My eyes are old and tired, and for sewing I MUST have a LOT of light…led overhead shop light, magnifying led lamp, etc. etc…the more the better. Natural outdoor sunlight is the best sewing supply I could want, but can’t bring it indoors, so mostly depend on those artificial appliances!
I have trouble putting eyelets in and I use a cropoodile. There are sometimes rough edges on the inside.
I also want to try all of my patterns and I have too many.
My biggest sewing challenge is that we were going to move and all my sewing things were packed to de-personalize the house. It’s all packed still in storage.
My biggest problem is finding the time to sew for 10 dolls!……six 18 inch dolls and four 14 inch dolls, all different time periods!!
My biggest sewing challenge is hand embroidering tiny details.
I’ve found that I need to “ make” time to sew a priority as “ finding” the time is never going to happen for me . I get my motivation from the Inspirational images on Pixie Faire and the pattern reviews . it’s amazing the outfits are so different looking even though they are sewn with the same pattern.
Our biggest sewing challenge- We still having trouble sewing with silky fabric.
My biggest sewing challenge is to just get started. I just retired and when I worked full time I always found time to sew. It was my stress reliever. Now I have so many things I want to do, sewing gets put on the back burner. I’m loving freedom and life.
My biggest sewing challenge is button holes .Ive even tried the parchment paper technique . I had difficulty turning that to make horizontal button holes. Some day I’m determined to master this on tiny doll clothes.
My biggest sewing challenge is figuring out how to organize my sewing projects in my small space.
My biggest sewing challenge is to just get started. I just retired and when I worked full time I always found time to sew. It was my stress reliever. Now I have so many things I want to do, sewing gets put on the back burner. I’m loving freedom and life.
My biggest sewing challenge is gathers. Just can’t seem to get them right
My biggest sewing challenge is machine embroidery
My biggest sewing challenge is prioritizing my sewing time and sharing the space with others
My biggest challenge is choosing my next project and then getting started on it. I get overwhelmed by the number of possibilities and by the many fabrics from which to choose.
My biggest sewing challenge is turning tiny tube straps.
My biggest sewing challenge is buttonholes.
My biggest challenge is binding a quilt and losing manual dexterity.
My biggest sewing challenge is staying motivated. I love sewing but I get distracted easily (ADHD). I think age has a.lot to do with it as well. Scoliosis!
My biggest sewing challenge is still buttonholes. Making a buttonhole in doll clothes especially near a seam is just so hard. I cannot get them uniform. I’ve used Shari’s freezer paper technique and still have difficulty. Just have to keep practicing I guess.
My biggest sewing challenge is turning corners.
My biggest sewing challenge is getting started.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding the time. Four children under 10 keep me pretty busy. Lol.

My biggest sewing challenge is sewing with chiffon.
My biggest challenge is finding enough hours in the day to get in some sewing – but I do try!
My biggest challenge is finding enough time to do all the projects that are floating around in my head.
My biggest challenge is sewing knits and silky fabrics. I’m getting better after watching the SWC videos, but the results are still not as good as I’d like.
My biggest sewing challenge is that I’m getting older and my hands are what they used to be. Sewing small is a challenge every time I do it but I love it so!!!

My biggest sewing challenge is finishing what I start. And carrying through my ideas
My biggest sewing challenge is finding patterns to fit 8" and 5.5" dolls
My biggest sewing challenge is finding fabric that excites me to sew my traditional patterns and to try new things.
My biggest sewing challenge presently is not having a sewing room!
My biggest sewing challenge is learning to sew! Got a sewing machine for Christmas so now I just have to take some sewing lessons, which I have scheduled. So excited.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding fabrics and notions at reasonable prices, and also, fabrics with small enough prints that are suitable for doll clothing. I live on a small fixed income so price + quality is extremely important to me.
My biggest sewing challenge is deciding which pattern I want to make. I always get lost in the looking at the patterns to pick one and run out of time to actually sew one.
My biggest sewing challenge when sewing doll clothes is manipulating the fabric under the pressure foot. I’ve tried coffee filters, tweezers and a sewing awl so my machines doesn’t eat the fabric. I suppose I need more practice so I don’t jam the tweezers under the foot because I don’t move them out of the way fast enough.
My biggest challenge in sewing is that of the vcost of materials.
My biggest sewing Challenge is having enough time to sew the things I want to make, but I am working on my wish list slowly!
My biggest sewing challenge is finishing what I begin.
My biggest sewing challenge never finish anything syndrome

My biggest sewing challenge is to get necklines and zippers to look just right.
Where did the year go? Biggest sewing challenge? guess I was very ambitious and some people will be getting their goodies in January. Just an extended holiday gifting period I guess. Should be fun. Merry Christmas and Happy New Years Folks.
My biggest sewing challenge is finishing projects before getting distracted by a new beautiful or fun looking pattern.
My biggest sewing challenge is getting every step correct and appearing professional.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding the time to sew.
My favorite contest every year!! My biggest challenge is the time it takes me to create the perfect ensemble. I work way too slow!

My biggest challenge is to sew a straight seam. I seem to go all over the place.
