My favorite era is the 1870’s and 1880’s. I’d love to see patterns for outerwear to be worn with those gorgeous bustle dresses. Mantels, dolmans, hats, etc…
My favorite era is the end of Victorian and the beginning of Edwardian. I’m a costumer and have worked on My Fair Lady, The Music Man, and Oklahoma. I live near The Henry Ford, were I have taken a group of women and girls to a Victorian picnic, were we’ve dressed in that time period.
I also own Samantha and plan to make dress for her similar to Pollyanna, and Tge Road to Avonlea
My favorite fashion era was the 50’s. I loved the circle skirts and lace petticoats. I would love ve to see a historical pattern offered for the Chemise dress that was popular in 58 and 59.
My favorite fashion era is anything between 1600 and 1900 because i love that women wore hats!! I would love to see more hat patterns!
The historical patterns are my favorite!!! Not sure I have a favorite era. Currently interested in the late 1800s because my husband is involved with the cowboyWestern segment of that time period. Clothing out west was very different than in the cities at that time!
I love the 1800 and the 1900 era. I would love to see a dress like the southern belles wore. The Azalea Trail maids of Alabama wear.them and they are beautiful.

I love the clothing of the 20’s I would love to see patterns for formal wear during this time, as most women and men dressed in suits and ties, dresses, hats and gloves. Pocketbooks to match! The details of the clothing was so sharp and clean. My grandfather was a master tailor during this time and owned his own shop and was a furrier as well. Clothing was very in vogue during this timeline.
My favourite clothing era is all of them! Love historical patterns. Would love to see the white and black dress worn by audrey Hepburn when she went to the horse races in “My Fair Lady”.
Oh, what a hard question! My favorite fashion era is 1950s. I would like to see a historical pattern offered for a blouse/slip. We used to wear those when I was a child. It looked like a white blouse on top, with a peter pan collar, but then it just kept going down and served also as your slip.
I love all eras….like a Cheryl Said above. However I love, love the 50’s and its innocence.
My favorite fashion era is from 1800s to early 1900s. I love those looks on the 18" dolls.
I love clothing from the colonial period, everything in the diversity from the plain everyday clothing to the fancy dress clothes!

The 1890’s are very interesting to me. I think the detail in the clothing of the gay ’90’s is incredible with the leg of mutton sleeves, long, full skirts, and use of trim.

What a difficult question for a person who loves historical times in general. I truly love all time periods. My favorite era ( at the moment) is colonial, that is what i’m working on now, I love the dresses of the Civil War era ( my next project) and then I shall move up the time line….20’s 30’s 40’s ( so love WW2), and for me personally I’m a 50’s child.

I would like to see a historical pattern offered for Native American reglia that is accurately done for multiple U.S. tribes, especially those in the Great Lakes area such as Ojibawa, Miami, Iroquois Confederacy, Potawatami, etc. They really had amazing clothing and skills.

Hoo boy, asking me for my favorite fashion era is opening a Pandora’s box. I can’t think of one I haven’t studied. I would like to see more flapper era clothing. The detailing in that era was extraordinary. Check out movies like The Great Gatsby and Thoroughly Modern Millie for gorgeous ideas. Also more 70s romantic fashions like Gunne Sax. And are we ready yet to revisit the 80s?
My favorite era is the 70s. I would love to see a cute maxi dress pattern with matching headband and drawstring purse! A gaucho pattern would be cute too!

My favorite fashion era is 1776 (colonial days) through the late 19th century. I live in Massachusetts and these fashions were especially present, both in casual and formal styles.

I love watching movies and series of 1800’s and 1900’s era to. I loved the clothes in the Downton Abbey series. But I mostly sew modern contemporary clothes. I am always surprised at the new patterns so I guess I would like all the wonderful PF designers to keep designing.

My favorite fashion era for doll clothes is the 1950’s. The styles for children and adults were not terribly different in that era. I’d love to see poodle skirts and crinolines, saddle shoes, ankle sox with frills, twin-sets (could be made from up-cycled thin sweaters as well as modern knits), the frills and tucks and bibs on blouses and dresses, tiny waists with big skirts, aprons, gloves, and fur coats, wraps and short capes for dress-up.
I do poodle skirts with fabric paint, but including a paint-template for the variations of decor would be really helpful for the drawing-challenge.
I had a pink taffeta poodle skirt with a flocked flower and many embroidered butterflies that was truly unique, and I wore it till the 60’s would not let me any more. I have tried to duplicate it, but my drawing skills are so limited!
My favorite era is the French and Indian War and American Revolution (mid to late 1770s). I would love to see a pattern for a Native Eastern Woodland outfit.
I really don’t know that I have a favorite fashion era. Although I do like the long dresses that were worn, but I personally would not like wearing them in the hot weather.
My favorite Eras were the 70s and 80s. That’s when I grew up! I would llove to see some bell bottom pants, vests, long vests with pants, long faux leather jackets , long winter coats and platform shoes. Oh and some Dr. Scholl sandals!
