I LOVE history and all the great patterns you currently have are amazing! As I really don’t have 1 favorite era for fashion I would suggest either more 1920’s “flapper style” without the fringe but a more everyday look with the felt hats and long slim silhouettes mens rolled trouser with bow tie. Or the 1960"s Mod twiggy style looks. Sofie Clareese has some great patterns in the collection but the crazy fabric/clear vinyl looks are really interesting.

I favorite era is Colonial through later 1800’s. But I just love historical clothes. They all tell a story about the time they are from. More patterns from the 1920s through 1940s. My daughter loves that era. This is an amazing giveaway. Thank you.

My favorite fashion era is 1860’s—USA Ciivil War. The times were dreadful, but I love those tiny waists, ribbons and lace. Glad I didn’t have to sew for grownups back then, but it’s fairly economical and fun to sew doll clothes today—- And I don’t have to worry about my own petticoats and stays!
My favorite fashion era is the 1920s although I love all periods. I’d like to see more designs of girl/boys clothes, not the adult fashions. While some periods did have children dressed as miniature adults, others had distinctions and I’d like to see some more Victorian, Edwardian,1920s, and 30s fashions for boys and girls.

My favorite era is the Edwardian period. I love the clothes you see on Mary Poppins and My Fair Lady. I would like to see a historical pattern offered for an 18 inch doll in this time period, especially the chemise dress in My Fair Lady, the ascot races dress, or the Mary Poppins outfit when they go into the park. Love the flowing lines of these clothes!
I love Victorian fashion. Some of my favorite dresses are worn by Catherine Zeta Jones in The Mask of Zorro movie.

The beautiful gown of the 1850-60s would look wonderful on AGD, along with the crinoline slips to go under them.

I’m a writer and I like to dress my dolls like my characters – right now I’m writing something that takes place in the 1930s. More from the mid 1900s would be great.
My favourite era is the 1940’s Second World War period. I would love be to see outfits that show both the different military uniforms and ordinary dresses for the dolls. Women of that era took such pride in there appearance.

This may be an opportunity to ask a question that has been haunting me. I sew to dress many different makes of 18" doll. Sometimes I am disappointed because two of my dolls must enjoy their treats a bit too much. The design requires some sort of waist to look as envisioned, but these two poor girls don’t look their best. Has anyone designed a corset to pinch the waist in just a tad?

I love these patterns! My fashion era was at the time of the American Civil War when the styles and fabrics were very feminine, while Rett Butler said in a passionate look and demanding voice, "Frankly Scarlett I don’t give a Damn! And then there are the fifties, which was the era that I grew up in. Little girls were still in skirts and dresses, grown up and be in a “Fussy” dress or outfit, and when little girls strived to be a lady, and sometimes dress up in their mother’s dresses and let their imagination take them where they wanted to go.

I find the 1840-1850s a very interesting clothing period— the sloped shoulders, the pleats and bands, the reasonable bell skirt, the awesome prints and plaids— but if I had to choose a specific item, it would have to be proper pretty caps for late 18th and early 19th century. Lots of clothing pattern options exist for this time period but the headware accessories are slim to none.
My fashion era I like best is the 60’s. I grew up in that time period and remember the dresses my Mom made for me. I would play with the dolls just as much as my grand daughter.

My favorite fashion era would be in the 40s. The wide shoulder suits, fitted jackets…love watching the old movies….Joan Crawford and Kathryn Hepburn. and the hats! Fabulous!
