My biggest sewing challenge is changing my human tailoring to small doll thinking. I’ve been a seamstress my entire life (now 60). So often my brain goes to, the really tailored way I sued to do things, to . um . that just won’t work on this scale . . I’m still working at it.
My biggest problem is learning to knit. I can knit/purel nice and even but if a mishap occurs U can’t seem to visualize how to fix it. Often taking out many does before I can (maybe) get back on tract. It is quite a challenge for me and I do get discouraged and go back to crocheting.
My biggest challenge is deciding on a project and still get the dishes done while working on the project.

My biggest sewing challenge is making doll clothes that a challenged, special needs, child can easily get on and off when playing. My granddaughter is hemiplagic and right side compromised. Her “Barbies” are her American Girl Doll(s). Limited right hand abilities make changing outfits while playing difficult for her – which I need to keep in mind and rework patterns when sewing clothes.

My biggest crochet, sewing challenge is finding room in my small apartment and finding time to do it for fun. I currently work 40+ hours per week, and I am trying to get a side business started, selling doll clothes made from only recycled clothing. My apartment is very small (for the 4 of us who live here), and is incredibly dark. The only room with natural light is my master bedroom, but there isn’t room to do crafts in here. Eventually, we are looking for a house to buy, and one of our new “must haves” is a craft room for me to build my business.
