My favorite tools are my 1/4 foot guide and my trusty Pfaff Passport 2
My favorite sewing tool is my iron, but I also love all my doll-sized ironing accessories.
My favorite sewing tool is my sewing machine, without it I wouldn’t be making all my projects.
My favorite sewing tool are my long doll needles because they are so versatile. Not just for attaching arms, legs, hair, etc. but to smooth out stuffing, to make a mark on the opposite side that is aligned. They are easier to keep track of than regular needles, I can use sturdy thread in them and can thread easily as they have a larger eye and easier to see
My favorite tool is my my Gingher’s spring loaded scissors. They are great for cutting anything, as long as someone doesn’t cut paper with them. Over my 15 years of costuming, I went thru many pairs—several because someone cut paper with them. When my helper and myself cut out 60 pairs of black satin pants for “Mulan”, we stacked the fabric and cut out all of one size at one cutting. On the cutting table, we weighted the pattern and started cutting from each side. Couldn’t have done that without our Gingher;s!
My favorite tool is embroidery machine because I ca easily add embellishment to any item I want to stitch.
My favorite tool has to be my rotary cutter. So easy to cut out those doll clothes!!
“My favorite sewing tool is the 1/4" foot! It keeps me in line!
It was fun to read everyone’s favorites…I think my favorite tool is my iron…I finally found one that works for me and has lasted for 3+ years…and thats a long time for me…lol
My favorite tool is my seam ripper. I use it to rip out basting stitches and to correct mistakes.
My favorite sewing tool is my reading glasses. They allow me to read my patterns and thread my machine.
My favorite sewing tool is a wonderful needle threader. It has a tiny little metal bar that pushes the thread into the needle with a push of your finger. It doesn’t have a manufacturer name nor anything I can identify it with, but oh, I love it for these aging eyes.
I don’t have a favorite. I need them all!! Sometimes it’s my surfer because I hate fraying seams. My iron always.
My favorite tool is my seam ripper. I use it to rip out basting stitches and to correct mistakes.
My favorite sewing tool is a seam ripper
My favorite sewing tool is my precision tip scissors! I make a lot of felt creations and they make cutting small or detailed shapes a breeze.
My favorite sewing tool is my hands. When they fill good i sew up a storm.
My favorite sewing tool is a turning doll so when I’m working on doll clothes it is much easier to turn the small pieces.
My favorite sewing tool would be which ever tool helps the most with the project I am currently doing. On any day, it could be my serger, sewing machine, cutting table, rotary cutter, “Jack” the ripper….
My favorite sewing tool is a good needle threader, whether the one on my machine, for which I am so thankful, or one for hand sewing. As I have gotten older, it has been frustratingly difficult to get that itty, bitty thread through those teeny, tiny holes!
My favorite sewing tool is my rotery cutter. I especially love the skip one that I use to make charity blankets with fleece.
My favorite tool is the piping foot for my machine. I’ve been obsessed with piping lately and the zipper foot just doesn’t cut it.
“My favorite sewing tool is all the pieces of fabric. I have a lot of them. I love to see the result in the end of my project.
My favorite sewing tool is my babylock serger! I’d be lost without it.
“My favorite sewing tool is my seam ripper Sometimes mistakes happen and you need to rework it.. "
My favorite is the right needle for whatever project I am doing. Not having the correct one makes a project frustrating instead of fun.
My favorite sewing tool is my magnet my magnet pin cushion.
My favorite sewing tool is my ting scissors for snipping threads off.
This varies with the day, but one of my favorites is my tiny snag puller. It pulls snags through, obviously, but it is so helpful for tucking in serger threads.
I used to think my seam ripper was the most useful sewing tool… but these days I find a stuffing tool is more my speed. I have collected/made them in assorted sizes and they help so much when my fingers just won’t cooperate. But my seam ripper comes in a very very close 2nd place.
My favorite sewing tool is my circa 1970’s sewing machine given to me by a friend. It is uncomplicated and reliable.
My favorite sewing tool is my little snipping scissors. They are small and always on hand to snip threads as I am sewing instead of regular size scissors.
My favorite sewing tool would be my old faithful Singer. I bought a new Brother but it is not as efficient as my Singer.
My favorite sewing tool is my serger.
My favorite sewing tool has to be my sewing machine but specifically the 1/4” presser foot. Perfect for consistent seams on doll clothes.
My favorite sewing tool is my needle point scissors. Whether getting in to trim jumps in machine embroidery or ripping seams (often works better than a seam ripper), they are indispensable.
My favorite sewing tool remains to be my 48yr old Kenmore sewing machine given to me by my husband on the first Christmas we shared as a married couple.
My favorite sewing tool is my walking foot, it really helps sewing on tricky fabric.
My favorite sewing tool is my fabulous pair of Gingher 5-inch craft scissors. They are excellent for clipping curves quickly and for trimming in those tight spots on tiny doll clothes. They are tough enough, though, to cut through multiple layers in thick seams with no problem…like cutting butter!
My favorite sewing tool is a electric scissors given to me by a friend when I developed a problem with my hand from cutting too much. She had two pair and gave me one. She passed away that year suddenly and whenever I use them I am reminded of her!
My favorite sewing tool is a seam ripper. I can undo a seam in seconds, then redo. I keep several seam rippers in my sewing container.
My favorite tool is a seam ripper with a handmade wooden handle. When you’re finished ripping out a seam, you just pop the blade off and turn the pointed ripper into the handle, leaving just a nub and no pesky cover to lose. It makes ripping seams a pleasure.
My favorite sewing tool is my mom’s vintage Singer sewing machine. She passed it on to me and I love it. It runs smooth, it’s fast & its a work horse. Thanks mom!
My absolute favorite is my Brother Dream Machine Innovis 8550D sewing machine. I have had it for 3 years now and it has always sewn perfectly.
My favorite sewing tool is a headlamp, I have a hard time seeing and this is a game changer in helping me stay straight on the seams
My favourite sewing tool is my stylus. It’s essential for making sure all the tiny pieces of fabric lay smoothly as they go under the needle when making doll clothes. And I use it extensively for all the other sewing and quilting I do as well!
My favorite sewing tool is my seam ripper… That probably sounds weird but I like my completed sewing pieces to be as perfect as possible, and after 60+ years of sewing, I truly can say it’s been my most used tool💕
My favorite tool is my magnetic pin cushion.
My favorite tool is my hemostat. It makes turning things so much easier.
My favorite sewing tool is whatever tool that is making my sewing easier and more enjoyable for the project at hand.
My “go to” tool is my hemostat. Short one for changing 16 needles on my Melco bravo embroidery machine. I am able to get the needles in the right position. I also use it to change needles on my Janome 1 needle sewing/embroidery machine. Makes changing needles a lot easier for arthritic hands.
My favorite sewing tool is my seam ripper.
My favorite sewing tool is my serger, can’t imagine being without it.
My favorite seeing tool is my sewing machine.
My favorite sewing tool is needle and thread! Be it a hand needle or machine needle, I enjoy both very much!
My favorite sewing tool is my embroidery needle.
My favorite sewing tool is my bone point turner. I’ve had it for over 40 years and it does beautiful corners every time.
My favorite sewing tool is my stiletto/awl.
My favorite sewing tool would have to be my sewing machine. I really stink at hand-sewing (although I do hand bind my quilts). If I had to sew everything by hand, I probably wouldn’t sew at all.
I love and need all my sewing equipment, but I think my favorite is my trusted Bernina that has served me well for 40 years or so.
My favorite sewing tool (of the moment, it changes) is my new Brother sewing/embroidery machine that I bought myself for Christmas 🎄😊.
My favorite sewing tool is a really good seam ripper, because you know; “As ye sew, sew shall ye rip”!
My favorite tool is my sewing machine, passed to me from my mother. I’m still hoping and trying to become the seamstress she was!
My favorite sewing tool is my hemostat. So helpful when turning things right side out!!!
My serger is my favorite sewing tool. The finished edges make my project so professional looking.
Mon outil de couture préféré est sans doute ma surjeteuse, je l’utilise encore et encore après toutes ces années.
My favorite tool is my heat erasable marking pens. I use them all the time!
My favorite sewing tool is my rotary cutter
My favorite sewing tool is my extension table for my Brother sewing machine. It gives me a larger flat surface for doll clothes and quiet book page construction.
My favorite sewing tool is my Mum scissors. Dad had saved for a long time to get her a pair of tailor’s scissors. Mum made most of my sister and i’s clothes. The scissors where given to me after she passed. They are still are awesome as they day they where brought.
My favorite tool: “that purple thang” the best little tool ever(push, pulls, & pokes).
My trusty stitch ripper has saved me countless times…..lol
My favorite tool is my Floriani precision turning tool. It gets the corners pushed out without causing the tip to poke through.
My favorite sewing tool is a sewing machine!!!
My favorite sewing tool is a handmade, clay handled seam ripper. It was made by a friend. It has beautiful tiny flowers all over it.
My favorite sewing tool is a tool that helps with threading elastic. Makes the job so much easier and faster.
My favorite sewing tool is my point turner. It helps make the turned seams look perfect.
My favorite sewing tool is my Clover Mini Iron — the perfect size for doll clothes.
My favorite sewing tool is my blind hem foot for my sewing machine. Not only does it do blind hems but it is a great guide for straight top stitching! Love it!
I love ALL MY TOOLS. I am a sewing addict. I think I have almost every pattern from Liberty Jane and love them all. Thank you so much
My favorite sewing tool is the mini pressing ham pattern that you have. I make lots of 18" doll clothes and the pressing is so much easier thanks to having these 2 small “hams” to go into the sleeves and legs and to take the curves that some patterns have. Thanks for making this pattern available – it is great!!! :)
My favorite sewing tool is my Pfaff 1209. Reliable. It does a perfect straight stitch. I have a newer, fancier machine but the 1209 is the best.
My favorite sewing tool at my wooden toothpicks. They are great for getting perfect points on collars or when you are appliqué get.
My sewing machine is my favorite tool. It brings a smile to my face every time I use it.
My favorite sewing tool- right now – are my Martelli tweezers. I love the length and fine tip.
My favorite tool is CONFIDENCE in myself….believing that I can follow the directions and make an outfit that looks as good as the pattern picture
My favorite sewing tool is my rolled hem presser foot. Once I got the hang of how to use it, I think it is well worth its cost in time saving.
My favorite tool is a chop stick, which I use for turning projects
My favorite sewing tool is my dress form because I love to be able to check the size and fit as I sew.
My AccuQuilt
My favorite sewing tool is my Pinking Shears. They finish seams quickly and easily.
my favorite sewing tool are my small scissors that i use to cut threads
My favorite sewing tool is my traveling Kenmore sewing machine. I bought it when I was 13 years old from Sears and Roebuck. It hasn’t failed me in 50 plus years. Its like the energizer bunny!
My favorite sewing tool is a large pair of scissors that belonged to my mother. Very sharp and I think of her sewing every time I use them.
My favorite sewing tool is a long handled magnet, I use to pick up all the pins I drop.
I think my favorite tool.is my serger. It definitely has changed my sewing.

My favorite sewing tool, is “That Purple Thang”! I use it to feed fabric under the presser foot, verify the 1/4 seam, push out points in corners, and it will even pull elastic through a casing quickly and simply. I keep one next to every machine in my sewing room.
