I sew and crochet (and have started knitting) primarily as a interest that started with cross stitching. I started cross stitching when I was elementary school (for real) and over the years I have expanded my interests in other forms of art. I have always loved doing art, in my opinion art is better shared with people. Why create art, if it is only going to end up on your shelf. Generally when I make something, I usually have a purpose in mind. Of all the art projects that I have done, I have only kept a handful for myself. The others I have given to friends and family. I have mostly sewed 18" doll clothes, but I have also made my three nieces dress that they were all the time, as well as pajamas for my family.
