Description Of Each Hearts For Hearts Girls® Doll: Here is a brief description of each of the Hearts For Hearts Girls® dolls:
Hearts For Hearts Girls® Nahji: Nahji is a smart and determined ten-year-old girl from Assam, India. In her community, girls go to work and marry very early in their lives, but Nahji wants something more. She convinces her parents to let her go to school, helps her family create their own garden market, and visits local 'tea clubs' to encourage other girls to take charge of their own lives. She tells them, "When you believe in yourself, when you are strong in your heart, then you can change the world."
Hearts For Hearts Girls® Dell: Dell is a cheerful and talented-ten-year old girl living in Kentucky. Her father was a coal miner but when the mine closed, her family had to leave their home in the Appalachian Mountains. Dell and her mother still visit their old neighborhood, bringing food and blankets to friends in need. Dell loves walking the high trails, which make her feel like she 'swallowed sunshine'. She tries hard to share that feeling by writing and singing her own songs. Maybe then she can show people the true beauty of her mountains.
Hearts For Hearts Girls® Consuelo: Consuelo is a generous and imaginative ten-year-old girl from Mexico City. Her family own a bakery, so their apartment above it always smells like something wonderful to eat! There are many hungry children living on the streets in Mexico City and their yearning faces touch Consuelo’s heart. She knows that there’s always food left over in the bakery; what would happen if she created a special cantina in the courtyard, and invited the children in? Maybe she could even teach some of them to become bakers! Sometimes, an idea can become a new life.
Hearts For Hearts Girls® Rahel: Rahel is a courageous ten-year-old living in Ethiopia. Lack of rain dries up the crops and food is scarce—but when the rain finally comes it brings mosquitoes carrying the terrible disease, malaria. One stormy night, a supply truck turns over; Rahel journeys with her family into the bush to help bring back aid to her neighbors. Rahel dreams of becoming a doctor so she can make a real difference when she grows up.
Hearts For Hearts Girls® Mosi: Mosi is a young Native American girl who is learning to balance between the two worlds she lives in. She is determined to keep the stories and traditions of her culture alive while being a girl living in a modern world.
Hearts For Hearts Girls® Lauryce: Lauryce is a sweet and thoughtful 10 year-old girl from New Orleans who learns the importance of helping neighbors and animals in need. She is determined to help raise money for animal shelters and children in Haiti.
Hearts For Hearts Girls® Nyesha: Nyesha is a young girl from Brooklyn, NY who is driven by a dream! She has a goal of owning a bright yellow food truck that serves delicious food to customers and those in need. Read her mini book included to learn more about how Nyesha's dream inspired her family and helped those in her community.
Hearts For Hearts Girls® Shola: Shola is a girl from Afghanistan who travels the path of hope! She is determined to bring laughter and joy to those that need it the most with her circus tricks!
Hearts For Hearts Girls® Tipi: Tipi - a masterful storyteller, is an artistic 10-year-old girl from Laos who loves to draw, dance and help her father, a skilled shadow puppet maker! She is determined to help her peers gain much-needed school supplies.
Hearts For Hearts Girls® Zelia: Zelia, a young girl from Brazil, is dedicated to sharing the important story of preserving the rain forest. Read her mini book included to learn how Zelia inspires environmental change in her community and in girls worldwide!”

I love the doll from New Orleans. Something about her eyes plus she is from my home state. And I love that she loves animal shelters.
Wow! What inspiring girls! I think my favorite girl is Consuelo because we both love helping others and baking!
They are all beautiful and have wonderful background stories and difficult to pick a favorite. They each have something lovely in their looks. I love Shola’s clothing, and especially Consuelo’s wanting to feed the children. We need more ways like these dolls to help others understand and appreciate different cultures and life styles.
My favorite is Dell. I love her freckles!
I like Lauryce and Dell. They remind me of my granddaughters
Mosi has the sweetest expression but they are all very cute!
They are all so beautiful! It’s hard to choose! I pick Dell because I love bluegrass and country music. I also love her freckles!
Very cute dolls!
Mosi has such a sweet expression. She makes me smile.
i love them all but Rahel would be my first choice as i like to have a multicultural group of dolls to make clothes for.
My favorite is Dell but all the dolls are beautiful and I love their stories! Thanks for the opportunity to win a doll and introduce me to this terrific line of dolls.
I think Rahel is so pretty. . I love her hair and her facial expression
Voting for the blonde…Maurice reminds me of my granddaughter
Delll is my favorite. I love her story and she looks like my granddaughter!
Delll is my favorite. I love her story and she looks like my granddaughter!
These are beautiful dolls and each one has a special story to tell. I really like Dell, her freckles are so cute.
These beautiful dolls are new to me. They all have beautiful faces and cute clothes. I love the eyes on Lauryce. But in truth each one is so pretty. I love the ethnic feel, how fun would a few together be!
I like Consuelo because not only is she pretty, but her story of using her resources to help the children around her is sweet and inspiring. Also, my granddaughter attends a Spanish dual language immersion school and many of her friends are hispanic, so this doll would be perfect for her!
Lauryce because I am a big animal advocate and I think this sweet child is just for me!
Dell is my favorite! I am from West Virginia my Dad was a coal miner! My Daughter and Granddaughters live in Kentucky so Dell tugged at my heartstrings!
They are the cutest dolls!
They are all beautiful dolls. I think my favorite may be Dell. Her sweet face and brilliant green eyes are stunning. Also, Kentucky has a special place in my heart too.
I love Tipi because she reminds me of my adopted granddaughter.
Dell is my favorite. Her simple beauty and her story of reaching out and caring for those friends and family who stayed behind for their own reasons speak to my heart.
My favorite dolli is Mosi because she reminds me of my 6 year old niece. She has the same coloring and facial structure of my neicee..
My favourite is Lauryce. I love her wavy hair, and her determination to raise money to help children.
Nahji is definitely my favorite because she looks most like my daughter from embryo adoption who is half Punjabi Indian. Dolls like Nahji, that represent girls like my daughter, are hard to find. We will definitely own Nahji one way or the other.
Forgot to say that my favorite doll is Nahji with Dell a close second
What a wonderful collection of dolls empowering young girls! This is a poweful tool to teach young girls about the world and the challenges that are faced by others. The challenges are not so different from our daily ones.
elles sont toutes très belles mais un coup de cœur pour Nyesha
All of the dolls are beautiful and have such personality! But, my heart is torn between Dell and Lauryce.
Dell is my favorite with her freckles.
Really cute dolls.
They are all beautiful! My favorite is Dell as I have a heart for the Appalachian mountain folks who have had it so hard through the years. She also reminds me of one of my granddaughters with her brown hair and light freckles!
Zeila has the same coloring as my middle daughter and that is not often found in dolls. They are all beautiful, but she reminded me of my girl.
They’re all beautiful. Each with an inspiring story.
I like Dell. I have 6 grandchildren. Two of them are girls and live in Kentucky. I love my grandsons but am sad that my granddaughters live 8 hours away! So Dell is from KY and makes me think of my precious granddaughters!
I love all of the dolls, but I chose Mosi, as my granddaughter is part Cherokee from both parents.
Lauryce is my favourite. Her story reminds me of myself and my friends when we were young. Trying to raise money for various things. I remember so well when we raised money to buy dog food and lumber for a dog house, for a family who had fallen on hard times. We raised enough money for about 6 months of food and the local lumber supply yard built and gave us the dog house. The family was very happy and the dog warm and fed.
Hi All, they are alle so beautiful and lovely. I like Shola the best, because of her beautiful eyes!!!
All the dolls are sweet, but if I had to go with just one…I would pick Lautyce
I like Rahel she is from Africa
I adore Zelia. As someone who has studies conservation, her plan to help save the rainforest speaks to me but all the girls are amazing! It was hard to choose just one
Mosi is my favorite! She has the sweetest face and most beautiful full hair! I am also partial to dolls with bangs!
They are all lovely – Tipi looks great.
I love all the dolls. They all have the sweetest faces. If I had to choose one, it would be Lauryce.
I am hoping for Nahji for my granddaughter.
I like Consuelo because she looks like me but has a different culture than mine.
The doll named Consuelo resembles my grand-daughter. She already has an American Girl doll that looks like her but I did not know about these cuties. They are adorable!
Hard to say which is my favourite, maybe Tipi but I am also drawn to Dell. They are all beautiful but there is something about those too that appeal to me most.
I fell in love with Lauryce the moment I saw her. She has beautiful curly blonde hair. She loves animals and raises money to help animals in need.
Little Miss Dell is adorable! She looks like my oldest daughter. I would love to welcome her to my home! It would be fun to make her an extensive wardrobe and provide her with all the extended play house.
Stupid autocorrect. Shola is beautiful!
I think Ashoka is beautiful!
My favorite is Zelia. Her hair color and hair style are great. I have a granddaughter named Nelia who would love her!
My favourite is Mosi. Living in Canada I am witnessing the indigenous people here reconnecting with their culture, and it is exciting!
Hard to pick a favorite! I’m going to have to go look at these dolls. I think Consuelo might be my favorite.
I love Mosi. I hav3 always been fascinated with American Indians. They are a beautiful people and their beauty is depicted in the face of Mosi.
I love Dell.. it’s her freckles. I also love Lauryce. she has marvelous hair!
My favorite doll is Nahji. I love her look but more than that, her story. I can’t imagine not having a child hood. While in her child hood, a girl in her country is put to work and also offered up for marriage, something she is not physically ready for. It would take great courage to resist such a future and insist on something different and much better for herself.
I love Dell, because of those brilliant green eyes!
I love the look and story of Nahji! Zelia is also sweet.
Beautiful dolls! Loved sewing clothes for them.
I love Tipi and her so sweet face.
My Granddaughter would love Dell as she has freckles on her nose.
I think she is really a sweet doll
I was hoping the contest was for Consuelo. She’s one I don’t have. I love these dolls and have Dell, Nahji, Rahel, Lilian and Lauryce. They are my favorite dolls to sew for. They always look so cute in whatever I make using Pixie Faire patterns. They have the most wonderful hair and their eyes are lovely.
Nyesha is my favorite! She’s such a pretty doll and I love her story!
I like all the dolls. Having to pick one I would pick Lauryce. She is an animal lover and also wants to help people.
My favorite is Dell. I love her eyes and freckles. :)
I love these sweet little dolls! I like Lauryce’s story and Shola’s lovely face.
I like Lauryce. (I got a message that it didn’t get my entry—try again.) But I see my previous entry.?
I really love dolls…I’ve already started a collection!
I have three favorites : Tipi. Mosi. and. Dell
If I was forced to choose only one, it would probably be Tipi
They are beautiful dolls with special stories.
I like Lauryce—she has a helping heart.
I like them all! I’m going to say Dell, her story reminds me of Loretta Lynn and Dolly Parton; two women who followed their dreams and brought joy to people around the world with their music.
I like Zella. Her hair is beautiful
Lauryce is the one I chose. Her kind heart is matched by her outer beauty and is something I try to instill in my children and now my grandchildren.
I like them all.
It is difficult to pick a favourite. They are all so lovely. Tipi is the one I’d chose for her artistic bent.
Having never seen these dolls, I commented out loud “This is going to be difficult” not anyone in particular, as I am the only one here -——but that was my feeling immediately. Many have said it is difficult to choose and they are right. I think I will go with Mosi as I have an interest in Native American history. I truly like them all. Thank you for an opportunity to see and read about them.
I cant choose one doll. They are all beautiful. I love the diversity and each has such a precious face.
I like Consuelo, reminds me of my granddaughter. Thanks for this opportunity to have another doll. (will have to begin to buy more patterns for their size) LoL
Thank you for allowing me to enter
Mosi is my favorite. I don’t know why, she just stole my heart.
I like Nahji the best. They are all beautiful dolls, but I think Nahji’s face is especially smooth and sweet!
They are all so cute, but my favorite is Zella with the bright hair and eyes.
Choosing a favorite out of all of these beauties was no easy choice. After a few coin tosses, I chose Mosi … I have Native American ancestry and those beautiful brown eyes it was my favorite. Should I win it, it will go to a very special little 6 1/2 year old girl…thank you for the opportunity!
My favorite is Lauryce. She resembles one of my granddaughters.
I like Rachel. She’d be great addition to my collection.
My favorite is Nahji because I love her nose ring and darker skin.
I have a couple of these dolls and they are beautiful. I am glad to see that now there is more to choose from. My favorite would have to be Zelia. She reminds me of my granddaughters
Dell with her cute freckles is my favorite. Glad to see there are more Heart for Heart dolls to choose from.
I love Zelia’s red lips and auburn hair.
Oh, gosh, they’re all so cute, it’s hard to pick! But since I have to, I pick Nyesha. Her dream is so very lovely and I love her vibrant clothes.
Rahel has beautiful eyes and wonderful curls. Plus cute earrings!
Dell is my favorite Hearts for Hearts doll. As a former coal miner who lives in the mountains and loves country music, I can relate to her.
My favorite is Consuela because she represents our family heritage.
I like Lauryce for she reminds me of my youngest granddaughter, who is a freshman in high school this year. i miss my granddaughter and the time we spent together playing with her dolls, teaching her to crocheting for the dolls and just talking.

Tipi is my favorite girl (though they are all beautiful) she reminds me of my DIL who is first generation Korean. She is a beautiful lady and so very talented too. She is a pediatric rhumatologist.
