Kindergarten! My classroom was amazing!
Grade 3 was my favourite year. My teacher held an afterschool knitting club, and that’s where I learned to knit.
Has to last year of high school….almost done and ready to move on
My favorite grade had to be 2nd grade. I still remember our teacher, Mrs. O’Kane, a very nice teacher.
Freshman in college. I left my hometown and got to meet all new people and reinvent me, no longer bullied and harassed for being and looking poor, just another freshman, like everyone else.
Junior year in HS. I was excelling in geometry, had my 1st boyfriend, I was active in school and got my driver’s license.
6th grade was my favorite learning year, teacher, and life fun. I even went on to teach 6th grade for over 25 years- loved it.
I loved sixth grade. It was the first year we got to “switch classes” which made a fun change from being in the same classroom with the same teacher all day.
It was 1st grade. Had an awesome teacher Mrs. Smith was her name. She made learning fun and interesting.
I loved learning but struggled with the ‘mean girls’ aspect of school. I guess senior year was the best. Loved being on the yearbook staff.
I think 6th grade might have been my favorite. They were remodeling our elementary school so 6th grade was moved to the Jr. High and at that time I thought I was cool finally being in Jr. High. And my mom was also a substitute teacher for us on several occasions that year.
1st grade because that’s when my best friend moved in and we attended school together. She still is my best friend.
10th grade. My algebra teacher would stay after school to help all who were having trouble understanding the formulas. She lived across the street from the school and her daughter would bring sandwiches and beverages for all who stayed. I’ll never forget her kindness.
Favorite grade was 5th.
My favorite grade was Kindergarten.
My favorite grade in school has to be the first grade. My teacher, Mrs. French, was wonderful. I was terrified for the first week and cried every day. They had to send for my sister to calm me down. Mrs French had a split class first and second grade, but took the time to make sure I was comfortable in that class. I also had her for second grade. She made learning fun and I looked forward to going to school after that…
My freshman year of high school was probably my favorite! We were able to take Home Ec. and the teacher was one of those who made the biggest impression on me. Joyce Jorgensen has passed away now, but she was my absolute favorite!
My favorite grade was 11th grade because Mrs. Jones my English Lit. teacher was the greatest!
My senior year, I went to a technical high school that year so that I could take a 3-hour dressmakking class every day. Best experience ever.
My senior year, I went to a technical high school that year so that I could take a 3-hour dressmakking class every day. Best experience ever.
My favorite grade was third grade. I was blessed with a teacher who took the time to pay attention to me personally and help me get headed in the right direction.
The seventh grade was my favorite because that is the grade I started learning how to sew!
My favorite grade in school was eighth grade, because my best friend and I got to graduate together.
My favorite grade in school was eighth grade, because my best friend and I got to graduate together.
By the way, I love the top on the doll with the lunch box – really cute and happy
My favorite grade would be a toss-up between 5th and 6th. I had wonderful teachers. In 5th grade, we ordered ti plants from Hawaii. Mine is still living with me 63 years later. A very remarkable plant.
I loved 7th grade. It was the year I was old enough to join the gymnastics.team at school and take Home Economics. I was always an avid reader and that was always my favorite part of school.
I didn’t have a favorite year, I honestly hated every year in school.
Probably 1st grade because I was so excited to start school — so much so that I started early. I was homeschooled and I wouldn’t let my older brother get ahead of me. It was a fun time!
3rd grade and then high school did art , home economics and sewing best subjects
My Senior year was my favorite year in school. A lot of great things happened that year. Thank You Cinnamon for the awesome giveaways. 😘
I loved my 1st grade teacher and my 5th & 6th grade teacher. So those would be favs.
Right now, the group of Good News Club kids I teach are ages 4-13, and I love them all. When I taught the Life Lesson for an after school program (that sadly shut down during Covid19), the kids were 3rd-5th grade and really enjoyed them.
5th grade was my favorite. Our teacher was amazing. He even had a player piano in his classroom we were allowed to play when we were good.
I didn’t have a favorite grade but I had many favorite things; Weekly Reader publications, the SRA color coded reading system, biology, Band starting in 5th grade and then Orchestra in high school, Home Economics, field trips and dances. I became a Home Economics teacher.
My favorite grade was 3rd grade! My teacher made all the difference. She has since passed away, but I will never forget the impact she made on my life.
My favorite grade in school was 7th grade when I had my first exposure to a “Home Economics” class that taught sewing and cooking. It was the beginning of my love of sewing.
My favorite grade was 9th grade. I had the most fun and my best grades.
None; hated every moment of the boredom. Liked university much better. Actually got to learn something!
My favorite grade was 9th grade. I had the most fun and my best grades.
I can’t say I had a favorite grade because I always looked forward to going to school and enjoyed each year. Well, except for 6th grade…I had a really mean teacher. One of my classmates told me years later that his mother took him to a therapist he was so traumatized. Some people simply don’t belong in the education field!!
Grade 6 was my winner. The school went from 1 to 6 making us the ‘big shots’ plus we had the best teacher ever. He probably made each of us more confident is some special way. God bless you Mr. Martin!
My favorite grade was 3rd grade. I had a wonderful teacher and we learned multiplication!
favorite grade: second
My 4th grade year was best. Nice teacher, taught us the Wandering song to perform, arranged for us to learn the Recorder. We were in New Orleans and it snowed for the 1st time in 28 years. I was from MD but lots of my class kept going out the back door and getting a handful of snow to watch it melt on the radiator. Wee celebrated Mardi Gras and were given a day to cross the river for the parades. We learned a lot of LA history. Our school was a rented 2 story barracks navy building. It was a less stressful year than any other.
3rd grade and 10th grade were my favorites.
My favorite grade was not third grade. The teacher was not a friendly sort at all. Years later, when I became a teacher, I taught 3rd grade. I loved the kids, and we had so much fun doing plays, programs, and singing songs as well as excelling in the academics. Who would have thought. :)
Senior year, 12th grade!
Freshman year was one of my better years. Meant I was growing up and becoming a young lady. It meant I was going to highschool and deciding what I was going to do with my life.
My favorite grade was 3 because it was the first time we learned to make something. We sewed a tote bag & cut out wooden handles, which I still have all these years later.
12th. meant last year of schooling lol
I’m with Kris Padrick who commented above…my favorite grade was “A” too, but I didn’t get too many of them!
My Sophomore thru senior year as I got to be editor of the school paper.
Third grade: we made art from fired clay, put on plays, and read lots of SRA reading lab little card stories.
We had red geraniums on the fire escape.
My favorite grade was kindergarden, because it was only half a day!
The last one
Third grade: we made art with fired clay, put on plays, and read lots SRA reading lab little books. We had red geraniums on the fire escape!
Any of the elementary grades.
Favorite year in school was my senior year of high school! They added. art to the curriculum which I took and went on to major in art and teach!
Probably third grade… or fifth. Those were my two favorite teachers. I don’t really remember much about the school years, just the teachers.
My senior year of high school-:1983. I got my first job, and made the honor roll.
My favorite grade was the 5th grade because Miss Sadowsky read to us every day.
My favorite grade in school was an “A”
I was an absolute geek so I loved all of them but my favorite had to be 5th grade because I became an avid reader due to the teacher’s method of getting us to read more. I truly became addicted!
Had to be Kindergarden ! Mrs Cotton was the sweetest teacher. She had also taught my Mom, and would call me by my Mother’s maiden name. Oh, the same ! (That was 1960)

4th Grade! Best teacher ever!
