This dress features a center front contrast and a tie that starts at the sides of the center front. It is open all the way down the back making for easy dressing. It closes with hook and loop tape.
This PDF sewing pattern by Ma Petite Cherie Couture is designed to fit 8” Baby Dolls such as Little Bitty Baby™ or American Girl® “Caring for Baby” Doll, but may work for similar sized dolls.
This pattern is available separately to fit 15" baby dolls such as Bitty Baby®.

- 1/8 yard Cotton fabric or 4 1/2” x 26” main color (bodice sides, sleeves, skirt sides, lining and tie)
- 1/8 yard Cotton fabric or 11” x 6” contrasting color (bodice center front & back, skirt center front & back)
- 20” rick rack or 1/8” to 1/4” braid optional
- 2” 1/4” wide Hook and loop tape
- 5” 1/8” wide Elastic
- Matching thread
