Does you doll love vintage fashion? Does she want to feel stylish while visiting friends from different eras? The Time Traveler's Vintage Blouse, by Forever 18 Inches, is the perfect solution for her fashion needs! Inspired by an authentic sewing pattern from the 1940s, the blouse features a softly gathered neckline with a matching binding, a rounded hem, and a back closure that can be fastened with snaps, hook and loop tape, or authentic buttons and buttonholes. Two sleeve options are available: Option 1 features a 1940s-style sleeve with a longer length, high-cut sleeve cap, and an inverted sleeve pleat. The shorter-length Option 2 sleeve has a fully gathered sleeve cap and bottom edge with bindings, and is appropriate for periods from the late 1930s through the early 1950s. A simplified version of the blouse with a lower neckline and without the neck pleats can also be made by substituting Template C for Pattern Front A. You can even use the simplified version as a modern-day blouse. No matter which version you make, your doll will be ready for school, play, and fun times for then and now!
The Time Traveler Blouse is also available in a bundled package with the Playsuit Skirt pattern.
