This beautiful 1950’s inspired Summer Dress, by Little Miss Muffett, with plenty of detail is a must for your favorite 18” doll’s wardrobe.
The fitted Bodice has piped Center Front and Back Panels. The straight neck edge is trimmed with ribbon and lace and is finished with a central bow. Three buttons are stitched on either side down the front panel to add visual interest. The Bodice is lined and closes in the back with Hook and Loop Tape. The Shoulder Straps are attached separately and have a separate lining to finish off raw bodice edges. The 6 Belt Loops, which are situated on the hip, are attached at the sides and on either side of the piped panels. A soft fabric belt with attached buckle is threaded through the loops, echoing the Shoulder Straps. Each layer of the full gathered triple-layered Skirt is edged with lace. This relatively easy PDF sewing pattern is designed to fit 18-inch soft-bodied dolls such as American Girl®.
