The loose Joy Dress has the A-line skirt with a frilly ruffle.
This dress gives complete freedom of movement and your doll can run, jump, whirl till she drops!
The round neckline is gathered at the front and finished with a bias tape. The neckline features a decorative cord with mini tassels which you'll make by hand from sewing thread. Long sleeves have two parts. The bottom part is gathered and has elasticized cuff. The Joy Dress closes in the back with three snaps or buttons.

This design is available separately sized to fit 18" dolls such as American Girl or 19" dolls such as Gotz.
Recommended Fabrics: Lightweight woven fabric.

- 1/4 yard light-weight fabric or 9''x34'' for Options 1, 2 or 6''x34'' for Option 3
- 3'' x 12'' piece of batiste or chiffon for neckerchief
- 20 ½''(width ¼") cotton lace
- 6" (width 1/8") elastic
- 3-4 buttons or snap fasteners
- thread to match and contrast thread for edgestitching
- a piece of cardstock (or equivalent weight paper)
