This pattern, from My Sunshine Dolls, was inspired by the lovely Clara from the Nutcracker Ballet. Pattern includes full color photographs and step-by-step directions to make this adorable 23" cloth doll wearing her Christmas party dress. Dress has contrasting waistband and back sash with a bow. Outfit also includes lace trimmed bloomers, silk hair ribbons and tie up ballet shoes. It also includes a pattern for a wooden Nutcracker doll. Doll body and bloomers can be made from cotton and dress can be made from silk or satin. Hair and shoes are made from felt. This pattern is the first in a series of Holiday Dolls celebrating this festive season. These dolls make great holiday gifts and decorations.

Supplies Needed:
- 1 fat quarter in skin color for face, body, arms and legs
- ½ yard fabric for dress
- ½ yard fabric for dress lining, underwear and bloomers
- 1 fat quarter for dress waistband, sash and hair bows
- 1 large piece of felt for hair front and back and pigtails
- 1 piece of felt for shoes
- 1 scrap piece of felt for mouth
- 1 yd of ⅛” ribbon for shoes
- 1 spool of ⅝” lace for dress bottom, sleeve and bloomer trim
- 1 yard of 3” lace for bloomers
- Fabric marker
- Stuffing
- 4” of ½” hook and loop tape
- Thread
- Embroidery thread
- Sewing needle
- Doll needle (3 ½” to 4” long)
- 2- 1” buttons
- 12 clothespins
- 6 wooden chopsticks
- Large high sided pan
- Hot glue or super glue
- Pins
- 8” of ⅛” elastic for sleeves
- 11” of ½” elastic for bloomers
- 1 wooden old fashioned clothespin and spool for Nutcracker
- Red, black, white and gold paint
