Inspiration directly from the runway, the Fashion Week pattern is a simple wrap dress incorporating fun fringes in the front and an extended back closure to create a perfect fit for a large range of 18 to 19" dolls.
The dress pattern includes two options for different sewing levels. Option A is set up so you can center a design on the bodice and has a different construction than Option B. It also has ties that are inserted into the seam where Option B has a ribbon that is sewn across the front and back (a simplified technique).
Both dresses have a lining under the fringe and the pattern includes detailed fringe cutting instructions, including adding a lightweight backing to the fringe.
This PDF sewing pattern is designed to fit all 18-19" Dollfriends® as well as 18" dolls such as American Girl®. Please refer to the measurement chart shown in the listing images to see detailed Dollfriends® measurements.
Recommended Fabrics: cotton or cotton-poly blend; not suitable for stretch fabrics.

- 1/3 yard of 45” wide fabric
- 1/4 yard of light weight fusible interfacing
Notions:
- 2 inches of clear hook and loop tape or 2 snaps
- Matching thread
Option A: 3/4 yard threaded sequence trim (times two colors)
Option B: 1 1/4 yards 1/4” ribbon
