They feature working front and back pockets, utility hoop, small utility pocket, buckle or snaps with button straps. A simplified version without pockets is included.
This PDF sewing pattern by QTπ Pattern Co is designed to fit 16" A Girl For All Time® dolls. It is also available for 18" dolls such as American Girl®, 14.5" dolls such as WellieWishers™ and 18" Kidz N Cats® dolls.
Recommended Fabrics: Lightweight denim, chambray, quilting cotton, lightweight twill, baby fine wale corduroy. Up cycling an old pair of pants or shirt is a great way to find fun fabrics. Avoid fabric with stretch.
Supplies Needed:
- ⅓ yard or fat quarter light weight of denim, twill or quilting cotton
- Light-weight fusible interfacing
- Pair of ⅝” scale doll sized overall buckles with buttons or
- 2 sets of snaps or
- 4 - ⅜” jump rings or
- 2 - ¼” buttons and 2 set of snaps or 3” x ⅜” elastic
- 2 - ¼” buttons - for sides (optional)
- 2 set of snaps - for sides (optional)
- Steam-a-Seam® or ¼” quilters tape (optional)
- Matching thread
