Mix and match three different camisas (traditional shirts) and three different faldas (long skirts) for many hermosos trajes (beautiful outfits). Each camisa has a wide yoke with ruffles, scallops, or lace details to choose from that create varied traditional long shirts. Each falda has different layers for a variety of different looks. Directions are included for optional embroidery and paper piecing decorative accents.
This PDF sewing pattern, from Stitchery and Snowflakes, is designed to fit 18" dolls such as American Girl®.
Recommended Fabrics: Any woven fabric, such as cotton. Not suitable for knits
Supplies Needed:
- Camisa A 1/3 yard of fabric
- Falda A Color 1: 1/4 yard of fabric, Color 2: 1/4 yard of fabric, Color 3: 1/3 yard of fabric
- Camisa and Falda B Color 1 (light): 1/3 yard of fabric, Color 2 (dark): 2/3 yard of fabric
- Camisa C 1/3 yard of fabric
- Falda C Color 1: 1/3 yard of fabric, Color 2: 1/4 yard of fabric
- All Camisas: 5 inches of 3/8 or 1/4 inch wide hook and loop tape
- All Faldas: one size 2/0 snap
- For Camisa B and C: 6 inch by 6 inch piece of scrap interfacing
- Camisa A optional embroidery floss
- Camisa C 35 inches of 1/4 wide gathered lace; 35 inches of 3/4 inch wide eyelet lace and 1/8 inch wide ribbon OR 3/4 inch wide ribbon threaded lace
- Falda B 35 inches of 1 inch wide lace, 105 inches of 3/8 inch ribbon
