The anarkali dress is fitted on the bust area and features large pleats flowing around the leg area. The length of anarkali usually ranges from floor length to mid-knee. Anarkali is made in bright colored silk heavily embroidered or decorated with beads or glass. The salwar pants, also known as the churidar, for an anarkali is usually slim, similar to that of leggings. The anarkali is a popular style that is found adorned mostly by the females located in Northern India, Pakistan and Middle-Eastern areas of the world.
Pattern includes photographic sewing instructions to make the Anarkali dress and Pants and all pattern components come in two sizes:
~ Sized to fit 18 inch dolls such as American Girl® and
~ Sized to fit the slim Carpatina Dolls or Magic Attic
Recommended Fabrics: Silk, Satin, Embroidered Trims

• 1/2 yard main fabric for dress
• 6” fabric for lining or self lining (same as fabric)
• 1/2 yard main fabric for pants
• 1 yard decorative trim
• Optional various decoration
• 2 - 3 snaps for back closure
• Matching threads
